Fees and Financial Aid:

Fees structure is around 1.25 lakhs per year. Hostel fees is 18 thousand per semester. Mess fees is around 25.5 k per year. Extra tuition fees is 20 thousand per year. Net fees is around 2.5 lakhs per year. for students whose parents income is between 1-5 lakhs, one thirdh of the tuition fees is taken from them.there is no increase in fees.

The classroom fees for per semester is 62500 and other taxes and hostle fees is 32500 per semester and if you go for the mess than the mess fee is 27500 for whole year But for the sc/st students or the students who are not finacial that much strong and have income less the 1 lac they have to pay 0 fee for the classes only they have to pay hostle and mess fee.

In first year u have mixed students in ur class like student from every branch are mixed together

I pay 222800 yearly in which 125000 is my tution fee and 15000 is my hostel rent and 21000 is hostel maintaince rent and 27000 is my message fee and the remaining are the additional charges like exam fee , registration fee,medical fee,internet fee etc For the students belonging to sc and st category tuition fee is completed off the only have to pay the hostel,mess and the additional charges which is 77800 yearly. For the students belonging from gen and obc and income is less than 1 lakh their they also get tution fee waviour and have to pay 77800 yearly. For the students belonging to gen and obc and income is less than 5 lakh per annum than their 2/3 tution fee is off.

A OVERALL MANIT EXPERIENCE

total fees one pays if he is from general category is about 1.5 lakhs per year if your income is less than 5 lakhs then it comes down to 85k per year if you are from madhya pradesh I would recommend u to go for MMVY scholarship ... also many merit scholarships are provided

The yearly fee structure of Myself i paid in 1st year in MANIT Bhopal includes: . Tuition fee : 21,600 (semester-1 + one time fees) and 8,000 (semester-2) . Institute Caution Money(Refundable): Rs. 5,000( per semester) . Academic Fee: Rs. 2,000(per semester) . Alumini Fee: Rs. 1,000 . Student Training and Placement Fee: Rs. 3000 . Convocation Fee: Rs. 2,000 . Hostel Fees: . hostel maintenance charges: Rs.10,500 per semester - triple occupancy: Rs.5,000 per semester . Institute Development fund: Rs. 2,500 per semester . Library Fee: Rs. 500 per semester .Registration and examination Fee: Rs. 1,500 per semester . Central computing facility & Internet Fee: Rs. 1,500 per semester . student Medical Fund: Rs. 400 per semestee . Activity Fee: Rs.1,000 per semester The yearly fee is same for batchmates of other categories except Tuition fee:Rs.62500 per semester For ST/SC students: NSP and MMVY and For OBC students: MMVY amount of Scholarship: NSP (Rs.86,000) and MMVY( Rs.55,000)

The overall fess of one semester for the students having more than 7lpa income is around 150000 (including hostel fees). And for the students having 3-5lpa family income they have 75% of 150000 and for the students having family income less than 1 lpa they have to pay 25000 ( only they have to pay hostel fees , tuition fees was 0 ) . For Home state students they got a Scholarship name MMVY.

College life at NIT Bhopal

The fee structure of NITs and IITs are very similar and they can be accessed easily from the websites usually ranges from 10-15 lakh . They also do provide scholarship for people having family annual income of 5 lakh or below than that. There is no hike in fees. You can also apply for other scholarships like National Scholarship scheme , Reliance foundation scholarship, FFE , etc.

MY MANIT

Yeah thats big problem for the general student ,the way they are increasing the fess is not proportional to the development made in the infrastructure. the complete cost is something around 190000 for student above having income 500000. you will get schlorship on the basis of your family income. i dont know to much about such that.
