IIT Indore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Like in civil there are only 2-3 companies come for placement like bpcl, hpcl beside that in non core there are companies come for palcement but if we compared with other IITs placement is not so nice and the average package is 15-20 lakh or only 50% students get placement

Placements are decent enough, almont 98% of the studnents get their job. many students also opt for higher studies or competitive exams like UPSC We are eligible for placements in 7th Sem A lot of companies above 100 visits and recruits from IIT INDORE Some includes Google, Amazon, BNY Mellon, Quadeye, Flipkart, Razorpay, De Shaw, General Electrics, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA, JLR, BHEL, IOCL, BPCL, etc. HIghest package offered is around 1 Cr. Average pakages is around 20-22 LPA I am planning for job after the degree

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

The placements of our college was very nice the highest package in b-tech was 68lpa and the average package was 25lpa and the placement percentage of b-tech was 89%companies like microsoft,googleetc will come

For placements student will be eligible after 7th semester in 4th year. The final semester duration thays when placements season happen. We got higher package like 60lpa for top cse students median is 13 like that.

Placements are available for us based on their talent most of the students get placed tills now ithink so 95 percentage students are placed till now and others are selected for intenshisps and placed in other companies placement are done based on their cgpa

Placements of our college is very good for all branches. Placements starts from around 7th semester. Highest package is around 86 lakhs rupees. Most of student are getting placement at end of 8th semester.

From completion of 6 th semester a student becomes eligible for the campus placement and can apply into placement offers. There are too many big companies like Amazon , flipkart, google , microsoft, zomato, meesho, etc who comes for placement every year . Many branch special companies also come like Indian steel , asian paints and other. Highest domestic package offered is 68 lakh per annum.above 70% students get placement. My plan is to get a job in mnc which pay well after getting degree

The placement season at IIT Indore for my batch was quite spectacular with over 90% placement achieved across all three branches. The placement season that begins in November pans out till March depending on the company schedule. Some of the companies that visited the campus include DE Shaw, Amazon, John Deere, ISRO, BPCL, Texas Instruments, Flipkart, etc. While the average package was around INR 8 lacs per annum, the highest went up till INR 45 lacs per annum. While I had secured a placement with one of the leading companies in the industry, I chose to pursue MBA as I had an admit from IIMA.
