Likes

I like hostels of our college. Hostel are always clean.
Campus is also my favourite among all college.
The campus is very green full, there are many tree and flower all over the campus.

Dislikes

I don't like it's mess food taste and quality.
Timing of some labs are also very odd for only our batch.
Some professor are very rude and disrespectful.

Course Curriculum Overview

Ther are many elective courses like space, thermal, manufacturing etc so ther are funful and very knowledgeable but they also studied about bioscience to engineering student. Some exam are very hard and some are very easy there are no such exam between them.

Internships Opportunities

Internship are starts from around 5th semester. there are many companies mainy online related and also some indore's company. I am studies in 2nd semester so I don't know about projects. But mosty project are related to there branch and cources

Placement Experience

Placements of our college is very good for all branches. Placements starts from around 7th semester. Highest package is around 86 lakhs rupees. Most of student are getting placement at end of 8th semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid nearly of 2 lakhs 37 thousand rupees these year. Total tuition fee is 2 lakhs and other 37 thousand are lad fee, mess fee, medical fee ect. There are also remission fee scheme for particular income like if your income is less than 1 lakhs you have to pay one third of total fee and for 1 to 5 lakhs you have to pay two third of total fee.

Campus Life

My experience with campus life is one of the best moments of my life. I enjoyed with my friends during festivals and weekend. There are big library but it mosty include study related books it barely have books which help in body language, business, thinking improving books. All club are very good with their work.

Hostel Facilities

We have provided the one bed, study table, almirah and chair with two person in each rooms.meal quality is not good as I expected before. But if they got many requests for meal so they change that meal it is very good facilitiy.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

Since childhood I am interested in space so among all IITs indore is only one that provide space course. So my first and last preference is IIT Indore. By the way Indore is very good and well known IIT. I have passed the JEE and JEE advanced and I scored well so i get chance in IIT

Faculty

There are many professor per cource, and we can reach out them by mail or going directly to their office. There are two main exams per semester and marks system is depend of professor and some professor take quiz.

Night Life

My favourite hangout spots is back of library. My college have also good gym facilities and many cafe and it also include dominoz pizza. There are no such timing for hostel and campus but they are very strict during night. Our campus is very far from indore city so there are no such place around college.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

THE REALITY OF VIT BHOPAL

Placement Experience:

from the 6 or 7 semester the student become eligible for campus placement.Companies like dell,amazon,zomato and mass recruiters like tcs and conginizant also come . this year the highest package was 70 lpa and 8 lpa is the average package offered 1200 across offfers are made 60 percent of students are placed generally sde role is offered my plan is to get a decent job

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

In my college the placements are very good as this year many students went with more than 70 lpa package which means the placements in the future will can cross 1 crore which is very good for me, the percentage is not told to us , my plans after degree is to open a startup company

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. I got an offer at cognizant during my college so currently I am not looking for the higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 6/10 because first year subjects and all are mostly unnecessary i guess. Its not required that much. There should be more focus on coding and problem solving in college which is often neglected.frequency and timing are fine of exams.

Everything you need to know about IIT Indore: An honest review

As I really have interest in Astronomy and Space Science since childhood, so during JOSAA(Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling, I filled up IIT Indore as my first preference and IIT Jodhpur as my 2nd .I got IIT Indore in first week so I locked it. I also applied to Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology and got accepted too. But later on I realised that it has direct ties with ISRO only. There is no other scope if we want to do something else like more related to technology. So, there were not much opportunities. I did not apply to any other colleges. We can take admission in our college by JOSAA counselling which is generally for admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs. You have to clear JEE MAINS and ADVANCED. And your 12th board percentage should be greater than 75% to be eligible for this. Now, if you just cleared JEE MAINS, you get NITs/ IIITs , else you can get IITs. There are different cutoffs for different categories like it is more for General than in OBC/SC/ST. Cutoffs depends on difficulty of paper , so there is not exact cutoff that I can tell. I gave JEE exam and according to my rank i get this college and civil branch beside that i have interest in civil also but college i get due to my rank. I apply for other colleges but with same branches after clearing jee we have to fill our priority according to our rank and there is JOSAA counselling where we have to fill the course and college and there are 5-6 rounds like you can accept the college in 1st round and no need to fill for other round...Read More

Life at IIT Indore - "What makes it stand out!!"

its an IIT so i chose it over NITs, IIITs, etc. i applied to top IITs also but could not get because of my rank constraints. as i cleared JEE Advanced therefore i was not rejected rather i was not alloted that because of availablibity of higher rank students.
