Course Curriculum Overview
For any bio degree too we need to study all the common subjects of engineering with out core subject. Therefore it prepares us for the outside world. Teaching method could be improved by more interaction and fun learning exam frequency is 1 month and medium standard
Placement Experience
From the end of 3rd year students are elligible for campus placements. Around 90% of the student gets placed varies branch to branch. Tcs does a mass recruitment other companies are infocys delloite. Highest package-70 lpa Avg package-4-5lpa I plan for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Teh fee structure is based on rank of viteee exam for category 1 i pay 1.76 lakh in first year for total 4 years the tution fees gets up to 6 lakhs hostel fees per year 1 lakh depending on room type all total for 4 years the approx cost for category 1 in 14 lakhs. For bathchmate for category 2,3,4,5 the fee gets increased by 4 lakhs in total that is cat 2- 18 lakhs.
Campus Life
Annual fest is addwitya for 3 days in February but we need to pay for the tickets it is not free. A wide range of books are available. The faculties are great. Sports and extracurricular are offered widely . In a year 2 competitions are held one is aarambh and other is adwitya. Club events are conducted occasion wise but for attending events also we need to pay.
Hostel Facilities
Good hostel faculty but strict about dress code Meal quality is very bad menu is diverse but mostly focus on south indian food. Registration is done during admission through vit website and vtop portal. Mandatory to stay in hostel for 1st year.
Admission
The course get finished within 3 years giving the 4th year fully for placement and anybody can do a job too. I chose this college because it has a higher rate of placement and a brand name comared to other private colleges. I did not get a government college so this was the option. Admission is through VITEEE exam.
Faculty
Professional faculty student relationship and they are approachable. One of the best faculty here for Calculas for Bioengineers is Neha Choubey. There is 2 exam mid term( 50 marks) end term(100 marks) mid term and end term have a weightage of 30% and internals have weightage of 40%. Exams maintain a standard and 20% student fail. The course curriculam is relevant for making placement ready.
Night Life
Girls hostel entry- 8 pm Boys - 9pm Main gate entry- 6:30 pm Gym hostel wise open upto 8 pm other cafe and public area closes by 6:30 pm It is safe inside campus. Most hangout spot- Mayuri, Bistro Outside- Bhopal outing is given 2 per month.
