- The interaction between seniors & juniors are quite less, mostly interact during the time of fest or other activities not very often.
- College doesn't give too much attentions towards the sports or any other physical activities which is also good for the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum will help you to get better in your cs core subjects very well and also help you to build some real-life applications. Teaching methods also need to be improved in which the faculty should know the programming language and how to use it for the studies. The exams are not that difficult if you study well but yeah some exams have a complex syllabus which could be difficult sometimes.
Internships Opportunities
Placement opportunities are quite great in the college a lot of big tech giants come and give you the chance to get employed like Cisco, Zscaler, Tata, and other big MNCs. They will offer you internships as well as the full-time job. The stipend might vary from 20k to 50k. Most of the companies offer you roles like analyst and testing engineer. Big companies offer you different roles like SDE or developer. Every company has its own niche and they will offer projects according to their niche.
Placement Experience
Placements in our college are quite good. Your placements started at the end of the 3rd year before that you sometimes get internship opportunities also but the main company started coming at the end of 3rd year. Most of the big MNCs comings like CISCO, ZScaler, service-based companies, and startups. Almost 3500 offers had been made in 2024. The average package was around 4.25 by Capgemini or Wipro and the highest on campus could be from Cisco of about 19 LPA and zscaler could be around 16 LPA. But to get into placements it is important to maintain attendance and GPA also that is ma ust. More than 40 % of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee is about 60k. This includes your bus fees and other college expenses. Yeah, if you are from another category, you will benefit from a scholarship but not the general category unless they come from EWS. Fees may vary among your batchmates if they are coming through other dealers during the registration process.
Campus Life
My overall experience is quite good throughout my b.tech. In the first year you definitely get a welcome party for freshers and every year there will be a lot of activities during the festivals, and also fa est every year. You have access to all the books related to your core branch in the library, you can borrow them and also keep them for whole sem. Every classroom has AV in it and teachers are equipped with a mic also. And the labs also have new computers on which you can easily do your programming.
Admission
The reason to chose this college over the other colleges is because the college was a very short distance from my home and also it is a part of the LNCT group of colleges. The different parameters are the social life here is quite normal than the other colleges, education methods are also average in terms of other colleges, and the placement opportunities are quite good here. The reason I couldn't make it to other colleges was because of the huge fees. The admission process in college is quite simple you just need to go to the college and fill out the admission form and if you have a good jee percentile it might give you the EWS scholarship. I applied to Ramaiah(Banglore), VIT(Vellore), and LNCT(Bhopal), the reasons I didn't go there were not because I got rejected but because of the fees and also COVID issues. If you want to get admitted to the college jee exam is important to take and also the MP entrance exam if you are from another state.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is quite high because of the dense population, with a minimum of about 70 students in each class. The faculty-to-student relationship depends on each student and how they approach the teacher. During class, it's not easy for students sitting in the back to approach the teacher, but it could be possible after class. Rishu Mam in the first year is a really good professor; she gives you comfort and also helps you when you are new in the college If anything or any problem you have, just tell the professor; she will solve it or help you to solve it. Pankaj Sir is the HOD of the the CSE department; he is also a great mentor who knows how to deal with the students as well as their problems in terms of career guidance You can approach him for advice on placements, problems with the exam marking, and other stuff.
Night Life
I have never been to college at night except during the time of the fest but there Is no gym in the college also to sit in the library you need permission and you can't roam in the college. The famous hangout place outside the college is People's Mall which is big and a must-visit place to pass your time and have some great experience. The locality around the college is safe to roam around at night even though the college campus is so big so you don't need to roam outside and it is not even allowed after 9:00 pm.
Other Applied Colleges
