LIFE OF A VITIAN IN A LUSH GREEN CAMPUS

If i hadto rate the course curriculum at vit bhopal for btech cse in term of relevance and comprehensiveness.I would give it a solid 8 out of 10.There are a lot of positivesespecially for studnts who are actively exploring beyond the textbooks but there are also some areas where improvements are needed. One of the main reason i choose this curriculum for placement no if no but it is very industry relevant curriculum. The tending subjects like aiml,ds, cyber security,cloud ans iot etc. with the hep os python dbms os and web technologies are directly aligned with what companies expect during placement. you also get exposure to toools like github,jupyter,mathworks.

The placements at VIT BHOPAL are steadily improving each year and because of the recession the placement is down for 2 years. as iits are also not having good placements recors these years.students become eligible for campus placements from the beginning of the 7th sem. however the ppt pre placemnt training and sessions starts as early as possible . aptitute tests, coding rounds several things. companies visiting campus TCS WIPRO COGNIZENT INFOSYS CAPGEMINI HCL HEXAWARE ZS ASSOCIATES IBM MINDTREE AMAZON GOOGLE FLIPKART BIGBASKET HIGHEST PLACEMENT DATA IS 59LPA AVERAGE IS 9LPA CSE STUDENTS MECHANICAL AND CIVIL IS LSIGHTLY LOW

I'm currently pursuing B.Tech in CSE Core at VIT Bhopal under Cat 2 and it is situated 60kms far from bhopal and my total expenses for the four year course is around 12 lakhs which includes tuition fees plus 5 lakh for the hostel and mess charge. The quality of the mess food is quite poor, especially if you're not used to typical south indian meals which are served frequently.My batchmates in category 3 and above pay around 4-5 lakhs in a yr.My college also provides some scholarship like GVSDP which is on the merit based toppers from each sate board and financial aid students from EWS .VITEEE rank is mainly claimed to befake as the student scoring 90+percentile in jee mains may score more than 1lakh+ rank in VITEE which seems in most private clg entrance exams. Overall the academic environment is decent faculties are very knowledgeable and helpful.The student crowd is mis youll find some very focussed and nerdy adn also there are students who more relaxed depend on the individuals while the college infrastructure is still under process ab2 is under process the campus is under developed

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH THE CAMPUS LIFE AT VIT BHOPAL HAS BEEN QUITE BALANCED. WITH A GOOD MIX OF ACADEMICS SOCIAL INTERACTIONS AND EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES. FEST LIKE ADVITYA LIBRABRY IS WELL STOCEKD WITH A DECENT COLLECTIONS OD ACADEMIC BOOKS, REFERENCE MATERIALS AND RESEARCH JOURNALS. IT ASLO PROVIEDS DIGITAL ACCESS TO ONLINE DATABASES LIKE IEE SPRINGER AND J GATE WHICH IS STILL GROWING AND STUDENTS OFTEN RELY ON DIGITAL PLATFORMS OR PERSONAL RESOURCES.

IT IS QUITE GOOD THE HOSTEL FACILITIES AT VIT BHOPAL ARE DECENT BUT COME WITH BOTH PROS ADN CONS DEPENDING ON WHAT YOURE EXPERIEMCING. ROOM FACILITIES 2 BEDDED NONAC 2 BEDDED AC 3 BEDDED AC/NAC 4 BEDDED AC FLAT/BUNK 4 BEDDED NAC 5 BEDDED NAC 6 BEDDED NAC/AC

Because of the brand name i ve choose this college. During my academic cycle of 1st yr i had applied to several colleges like SRM, thapar,techno,narula etc. My backup options was VIT and SRM. My main target was getting a NIT but due to my less marks. i was not selected and due to the weak erformance in the math setion my percentile was 82%ile. I came here because it wqill vcomlete my btech degree only in 12 lakh which is less compared to tother pvt vlg.

It is a pvt clg the faculty of VIT BHOPAL is a mix of experienced professionals and fresh PhD grads.The faculty and student ratio is 1:40. which is manageable but most of the classes feel very ovrecrowded.some of the faculties are highly knowledgeable.College also provide FFCS in which you can choose your faculty according to you requirement . and make a proper time table based on your sleep schedule ,which is very good. In VIT it is known for taking exams after exams. in each sems it takes mid term which consists of 50 marks which contributes. only 30% and 5 marks for attendance 5%,20% internals and another 30% for end term, which held for 100 marks. you have to score 20/50 in midterms and 40/100 in end term to pass the course. it is very diffficult youve to give supply if you fail to pass the the course.

THE NIGHTLIFE AT AND AROUND VIT BHOPAL IS RLATIVELY QUIET ADN LIMITED, MAINLY DUE TO ITS REMOTE LOCATION ADN STRICT CAMPUS RULES.UNLIKE COLLEGES SITUATED IN BIG CITIES, VIT BHOPAL IS LOCATED ON THE OUTSKIRTS NEAR KOTHRI KALAN KALAN WHICH MAKES NIGHTLIFE MORE CAMPUS CENTERED AND LOW KEU. CAMPUS AND HOSTEL TIMING GIRLS-8 PM BOYS- 9 PM
