Exploring college in First Year

I was so fascinated toward the computers and software so I chose this course. The teachers are very suppportive.The fully flexible credit sytem is the best thing hear. In FFCS you can make your own time table. In this you can choose your desired time to take lecture and from your desired teacher. Mid term is usually conducted in one to one and a half month from the beggining of the semester.

I have heard from the seniors that collge help in Internships opportunities. Companies like google, ebay, cognizant, infosys, tcs provide internship. They offer the role for software engineer, web development, data analyst.

The placement here is decent. Here Student complete their 8 semester in first 3 year and last year is all reserved for placements. Companies like Microsoft, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, etc visits the campus . Post like software engineer, data analysts, and other roles int entry level are offered by there companies. Last year the placement ratio was about 90%.Avaerage package is around Rs 8 LPA. I will also apply for the companies and try to grab a job with decent package.

Here the fee is based on the category you lie in . The category is divided according to the rank secured in VITEEE examination conducted by the VIT for the all four campuses. I was in Category 1 so my fee is Rs 1,98,000 /- per year . There are in total five categories and the fee varies accordingly. There is not any reservation for student from SC, ST category. Caution fee of Rs 3000 is also there. The category 1 and 2 is good for this college.

The overall experiences is decent . There are over 80 clubs. There are both technical and non-technical clubs. There is always ate least one to two one event is organised by these clubs. The annual Fest is AdVitya which is held in February. This fest is of 3 days and there is also sports fest during this period. Winter fest also organised for the first time in December last year in 2025.All the classroom are equipped with projector. Sports Infra is not much good. It is normal.

There is one normal block and 5 premium blocks for boys. And for girls there are 2 blocks. Hostel facilities includes room cleaning, wifi, etc. You can choose different types of room according to the availability. Types of room are 2 bedded, 3 bedded, 4 bedded, 5 bedded, etc. Bunk beds are also available. The quality of mess food is also decent. Registration for hostel is done VIT portal. If anyone rent PG nearby outside the campus it will be cheaper in compared to Hostels.

The admission process is simple here. Student must have 60% aggregate in PCM in 10+2 Boards exam. There is entrance Examination VITEEE. According to the rank in VITEEE the students are divided into categories. I gave JEE examination with VITEEE. Unfortunately I couldn't make their so I chose this college. This college has centralisied placement while other private college has not.

The Faculty to student ration in VIT Bhopal is roughly near 1:75. All the faculty are Doctorate. The faculties are supportive. There are two exams in one semster. One is Mid term examinantion and other is Term End examination. There are tutorials for the internals. The level of the examination is moderate.

There is no nightlife inside the college. All the students are instructed to come inside the Hostels by 9 p.m. There are two gyms one in premium block and other is in normal block. Recently new cafeterias have opened for boys. There is no hangout place near the campus , if you want to hangout you have to go either Bhopal or Indore.
