- As per the name, the Samsung Star Scholarship is offered by Samsung India Electronics Private Limited to all the students/ graduates from all the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
- However, the Scholarship is only available for the students of B.Tech or dual degree programmes at IIT Indore.
- The merit criterion of the Samsung Star Scholarship is based on the scores of JEE Advanced.

Students who want to apply for BTech and MSc program for Merit-cum-Means Scholarship at IIT Indore need to fulfil some basic eligibility criteria given below.
Students from SC, ST and PwD category whose parental income is between 1,00,000 and 5,00,000 per annum and candidates from General category, EWS, OBC-NC whose parental income is less than 1,00,000 can apply for MCM scholarship.
