- JEE Main 2025 exam dates have been announced for the January Session. The exam is scheduled from January 22 to January 31, 2025. Students seeking admission to B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Planning courses can apply online through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply is November 22, 2024. Only the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates will be eligible to sit for JEE Advanced 2025 (conducted for engineering admission to IITs).

Likes
- Hostel rooms and cleanliness of toilets and common area.
- The infrastructure and greenry of environment
Dislikes
- The management staff and their activity is not very good
- There has been a regular sighting of leopard near residential area which is poor work on forest department’s part
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee for a general category student is around 1 lakh 35 thousand which is good for a govt college but accordingly the rooms and lecture halls and study materials provided are also very good. A scholarship available is provided by govt for SC/ST students and MMVY provided by the Madhya Pradesh govt to students of Madhya Pradesh who scored more than 85 percent in Boards. The employment rate is very good in our college with an average around 19 lakhs overall.
Likes
- This green Campus was definitely the best part of IIT Indore
- Senior are very supportive and intelligent to help us explore various fields
Dislikes
- Management for events and workshops are not quite good right now
- As it is not developed completely we have to cover a lot of distance for classes hostel and mess.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees structure is quite balanced as it is a IIT all the facilities provided are excellent with min fee possible . various scholarships are provided based on category SC/ST get 100% waisver on tuition fees While EWS also get some waiser I don't know the exact data but it was around 30 to40% on tuition fees the net fees for 1 St sem was 1,42,000. We also have some additional scholarships ex. Reliance etc. we got it in our first year

- The infrastructure of the campus and the curriculum
- Faculty is so friendly and many courses doesn't have attendance
Dislikes
- The people here are so cunning and selfish. I never find them in my whole life
- Yeah I am missing my friends and family members
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure is based on the income status If you have income of less than 1 lakh the the fees will be around 25,000 per semester If you are from obc noncreamy layer then you have to pay 1,35,000 per semester I am from OBC-NCL so I am paying 1,35,000 per semester. I don't know much about this

- I liked the college environment because of greenery.
- I liked the college faculty and their teaching .
Dislikes
- The hostel is double sharing,this damages our privacy
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure here is 3lakhs for general who have a family income above 8lakhs. there will be the availability of scholarships based on your merit and family income. The jobs opportunities are good here.

- Campus Infrastructure is very great and it is best of all IIT's
- Education is very flexible with a lot of electives in a course
Dislikes
- located very far from the main city Indore
- canteens are very few in number and its difficult to eat different foods

As IIT'S were partly government funded institutes economically weaker sections get upto eighty percent concession with a final fees of around 1 lakh/year.But if someone is not from ews then the fees is arount 2.5L/year

- Freedom compared to another colleges other than IITs and NITs
Dislikes
- Food in this college Food was totally north style because i am from south India i don't like this food.
- Exams in IITs exams are hard which means they are in application purpose

No there is no hike for fee structure in campus. The fee structure will be same for all years which is combined for mess and hostels . The fee structure is different for different students (they consider caste and economy of parents). There is a loan facility for students.

IIT Indore: 2 Answered Questions
Which branch is better to join, CSE at IIT Indore or MNC (mathematics and computing) at IIT Guwahati?
My brother was in a similar dilemma last year when he had to choose between MnC IIT Guwahati and CSE IIT Indore. Eventually, he went for IIT Indore CSE. The main reason he decided against going for the MnC program was his lack of interest in Math. And when we talk about Math at IIT, trust me when I say it’s at another level. It’s purely proof-based and high-level Math that can be handled only by true Math lovers. The academic workload is also high with 60% Math and 40% CS courses.
Now, here are a few points that might convince you to join IIT Indore instead
- IIT Indore qualified for ACM-ICPC World Finals thrice. This in itself is quite an achievement considering this event's importance.
- As per HackerRank, IIT Indore is said to have the best coders in the whole country. Additionally, it’s at the 8th position globally for the best coders
- IIT Indore has an extensive alumni base who completed their Master's from top foreign universities like Stanford, Caltech, University of Columbia. Many talented alumni also increase the credibility of the institute by working at reputed firms like Google and Facebook.
- This year, the CS department recorded 100% placements with the highest and average packages standing at INR 48.5 LPA and INR 30.32 LPA respectively.
Overall, IIT Indore CSE is a much better choice than MnC IIT Guwahati considering the work of and job opportunities.
What should I prefer Mathematics and Computing at IIT BHU or IIT Indore CSE?
I think opting for IIT Indore CSE is a better option than choosing Mathematics and Computing at IIT BHU.
- IIT Indore offers an excellent opportunity for the students in the CSE department.
- It has excellent undergraduate research opportunities and many foreign collaborations.
- The average course fee for a year's BTech program under the CSE department is around INR 2.99 lakhs.
- IIT Indore offers excellent placement opportunities for students with 89.76% placements for B.Tech.
