Likes

Mess food ,are very tasty and healthy food is provided
College faculty teaches us best and they take care of us
Hostel facility are best and advanced facilities are provided for us

Dislikes

Fest celebrations are some what unsatisfied
Games and others activities are more but there is no tym to participate
Distances from college to mess and mess to hostel and hostel to mess are too long

Course Curriculum Overview

We can give 5 star rating because the teaching is very good and they take cares of people and somes times they also tired of teaching and they don't care about students and there wonts be like making notes we have learn on our own so that we gain main topics based on that

The internships are suggested by our seniors and they are available in colleges they visit our campus and gives a chance to all the students with giving some projects and pocketmoney their are available based on their coding skills

Placements are available for us based on their talent most of the students get placed tills now ithink so 95 percentage students are placed till now and others are selected for intenshisps and placed in other companies placement are done based on their cgpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees is 2lakhs and it is based on castes and placements is done on cgp. So our faculty teaches us better and facilities in the hostel,mess,are very good and fest are conducted monthly wise so we are proudfull for getting this college

Campus Life

I have enjoyed alot in participating in the cultural clubs and campus life their are many events in participating like social welfare activities and the fests are done with wide range with infrastructure is very excellent

Admission

I selected this college for distance from our village and nirf ranking is high and I have received the intrested course fore which get the intrested in taking the college and ambiiwnecw of the college is very good for me

Faculty

Course is provided on arol link and we have to apply with in the given date so that we can learn on required courses and exams are conducted on seminar halls which are very strict if any one caught they are suspended for six months and marking schemes are done based on percentile ,it is calculated on 1st ranked marks basis

Night Life

Very colourfull in nights with lights and pizzeria like snacks which are available tonight the campus with a lot of facilities and the couples are roaming in midnights with a jollymood students also play crickets basketball in the night tyms it give a lots of fun

Search for college begins...

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

Placement Experience:

from the 6 or 7 semester the student become eligible for campus placement.Companies like dell,amazon,zomato and mass recruiters like tcs and conginizant also come . this year the highest package was 70 lpa and 8 lpa is the average package offered 1200 across offfers are made 60 percent of students are placed generally sde role is offered my plan is to get a decent job

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. I got an offer at cognizant during my college so currently I am not looking for the higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 6/10 because first year subjects and all are mostly unnecessary i guess. Its not required that much. There should be more focus on coding and problem solving in college which is often neglected.frequency and timing are fine of exams.

Everything you need to know about IIT Indore: An honest review

As I really have interest in Astronomy and Space Science since childhood, so during JOSAA(Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling, I filled up IIT Indore as my first preference and IIT Jodhpur as my 2nd .I got IIT Indore in first week so I locked it. I also applied to Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology and got accepted too. But later on I realised that it has direct ties with ISRO only. There is no other scope if we want to do something else like more related to technology. So, there were not much opportunities. I did not apply to any other colleges. We can take admission in our college by JOSAA counselling which is generally for admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs. You have to clear JEE MAINS and ADVANCED. And your 12th board percentage should be greater than 75% to be eligible for this. Now, if you just cleared JEE MAINS, you get NITs/ IIITs , else you can get IITs. There are different cutoffs for different categories like it is more for General than in OBC/SC/ST. Cutoffs depends on difficulty of paper , so there is not exact cutoff that I can tell. I gave JEE exam and according to my rank i get this college and civil branch beside that i have interest in civil also but college i get due to my rank. I apply for other colleges but with same branches after clearing jee we have to fill our priority according to our rank and there is JOSAA counselling where we have to fill the course and college and there are 5-6 rounds like you can accept the college in 1st round and no need to fill for other round...Read More

Life at IIT Indore - "What makes it stand out!!"

its an IIT so i chose it over NITs, IIITs, etc. i applied to top IITs also but could not get because of my rank constraints. as i cleared JEE Advanced therefore i was not rejected rather i was not alloted that because of availablibity of higher rank students. Canditate should have passed 12 th class to appear in jee. we can find the applicaion form, fees and dates in nta website Yes there is a huge reservation process due to which scheduled castes and schedules tribes benefit a lot and women too have edge in this admission process due to reservation to female candidates.
