Most Honest review of IITI

So the course curriculum here at IIT indore is best, Like I am studying electrical engineering here and there is no branch like ECE here separately like the other collegea so they have combined the electronics and electrical curriculum both in the same branch. They have included the courses from electronics too in the evey semester.

So as I have told Internships offers comes in 5th semester starting companies starts to visit campus during this period and all the big tech giants visits here to hire interns like Google, oracle, Amazon, flipkart, Goldman Sachs , Arcisium, Axxela , Deliitte and many more all these were hiring for software developer roles and then some more companies for core electrical like Nvidia, Texas instrument , ARM etc. Jindal steel and many more.

Placement at IIT INDORE are great like if a student is serious about studies and all then he/she will get placed easily. So after 4th semester when we get enter into 5th semester companies visits to hire students for internships. And in the 7th semester companies visits hire for full time. So in IIT Indore on campus almost all the big tech companies and startups visits here to hire for different roles. Some of the companies I am listing here like Google, Amazon, Oracle, Accenture India and Japan, Deloitte, Arcesium, Atlasian, Mathworks, Flipkart, Zomato, Nvidia, Texas Instrument and many more. Highest package this year is around 68 LPA and average package is around 23-25LPA and mostly offers are for software or tech related profiles and few are there for core electrical and consultancy profile.

So Fee structure for per semester here for B.Tech student is around 1,28,000 in which around 1lakh is the tuition fee for general category student. There is a great financial assistance for the student in IIT Indore like if you are from sc and st category then you get 100% tuition fee waiver in all IIT and if a student with a family income of less than 1lakh rupees per annum also get 100% tuition fee reimbursement. There are many scholarship which depends on different eligibility criteria like if you belong to sc/st category then I think there is a scholarship NSP from central government and also so many private NGOs provide scholarship to needy and meritorious students like FFE and many more. So there is no need to worry about the expense you have all the opportunities to study here.

Campus life I would say is good here but not best. Annual fest of IIT Indore is Fluxus. Fluxus is the flagship culture and tecnical event of IIT Indore.Fluxus held in March evey year. There are other events also like E-summit and TEDx event. Library has access to almost all the books that a student need to study whether it's related to curriculum or even fictional and interesting political books and many more. Classroom have all the new technologies that it should have like projectors, smart screens and totally automated system with air conditioned rooms. Campus had great facility for sports also separate ground for evey sport like football and cricket and athletic. There is a indoor sports Complex also and full professional size swimming pool facility. Every hostel had their own badminton court. Gym also available here. So many clubs and society here to improve personality but they don't work on regular basis no regular events from club side.

One of the Best hostels among all IITs and even we can say one of the best in India. We have flat system here in hostels so in one flat or one unit there are 5 rooms all the students get single room. Rooms have air conditioner and all the facilities like hostels here have access to electricity and water 24×7. But there is some intruption in internet access sometimes here in campus. Meal is ok sometime it's very good and sometimes it's worst. There are 3 caterers who serve in the dinning hall and student can choose as per their choice where he wants his meal. Hostel fee is 16000 rs. Which is I think most affordable with these luxurious facilities we are getting.

To get admission in an IIT we all know we have tk give jee mains examination (Qualifying exam)first and then we have to clear jee advanced examination. On the basis of jee advanced rank we get admission in IITs. Along with that you should have a minimum 75 percent aggregate marks in your class 12 examination. Jee mains exam is cknducted by NTA two times every year first attempt in jan or feb and then second one in April. JEE advanced exam is conducted only once in a year by different IITs evey year and all the qualified students from the jee mains sit in the jee advanced. The cutoff for qualifying the JEE mains examination is around 90 percentile for the general category students. In JEE Advanced examination if a student from general category is able to get 30-35% marks then he/she will surely get admission in an IIT. Of course there are some reservation for sc/st and obc category in IIT Indore. 27% seats for obc , 15% seats for SC and 7.5% seats for ST category are reserved.

All the faculty members here are well qualified like mostly all of them have done their masters or phd from the reputed foreign universities. But when it's about effectiveness there are some of the faculties are not good at delivering the content in the classroom because they are more research oriented and just work on their research work more not more attention on the student Or teh course they are teaching.
