Likes

I liked lot of things like classrooms library
Auditorium sports complex and swimming pool
and there will be complete freedom in the college

Dislikes

There will be less number of food stalls

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculam was in way such that it gives a detailed explanation of the subject and how it will work in real life and the each course will be taught in a time period of six months (1 semester) and you will get full idea

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities will be quiet nice colleges like iit roorke and google offer internships and the stipends are good enough and there will be good experience and the time period will be like 2,3months

The placements of our college was very nice the highest package in b-tech was 68lpa and the average package was 25lpa and the placement percentage of b-tech was 89%companies like microsoft,googleetc will come

Campus Life

The overall experience of the college was very nice everyone in the college were very intractive and the class timings are pretty good such that there will time for sports in our daily routine in the college

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are very nice the infrastructure is extrodinary and there will one warden for complete hostel and each unit contains 5 or 6 rooms with hall and almarah and balacony with bathrooms in the room

Admission

I choose this college because of my jee rank according to my rank in jee this is the best option for me the admission process is quite simple after you got seat allotment from josaa you should appear in the collage

Faculty

The faculty student relationship will be nice and they will approach you for every problem and the curriculum is very excellent and the all faculty are experts in their particular domain and the teaching was excellent

Night Life

The nightlife will very nice but there will less food stalls in the college which you might don't like and the library timings will be 9 to 11 and there will be self study centre which is 24/7 in the library

Search for college begins...

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

Placement Experience:

from the 6 or 7 semester the student become eligible for campus placement.Companies like dell,amazon,zomato and mass recruiters like tcs and conginizant also come . this year the highest package was 70 lpa and 8 lpa is the average package offered 1200 across offfers are made 60 percent of students are placed generally sde role is offered my plan is to get a decent job

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. I got an offer at cognizant during my college so currently I am not looking for the higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 6/10 because first year subjects and all are mostly unnecessary i guess. Its not required that much. There should be more focus on coding and problem solving in college which is often neglected.frequency and timing are fine of exams.

Everything you need to know about IIT Indore: An honest review

As I really have interest in Astronomy and Space Science since childhood, so during JOSAA(Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling, I filled up IIT Indore as my first preference and IIT Jodhpur as my 2nd .I got IIT Indore in first week so I locked it. I also applied to Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology and got accepted too. But later on I realised that it has direct ties with ISRO only. There is no other scope if we want to do something else like more related to technology. So, there were not much opportunities. I did not apply to any other colleges. We can take admission in our college by JOSAA counselling which is generally for admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs. You have to clear JEE MAINS and ADVANCED. And your 12th board percentage should be greater than 75% to be eligible for this. Now, if you just cleared JEE MAINS, you get NITs/ IIITs , else you can get IITs. There are different cutoffs for different categories like it is more for General than in OBC/SC/ST. Cutoffs depends on difficulty of paper , so there is not exact cutoff that I can tell. I gave JEE exam and according to my rank i get this college and civil branch beside that i have interest in civil also but college i get due to my rank. I apply for other colleges but with same branches after clearing jee we have to fill our priority according to our rank and there is JOSAA counselling where we have to fill the course and college and there are 5-6 rounds like you can accept the college in 1st round and no need to fill for other round...Read More

Life at IIT Indore - "What makes it stand out!!"

its an IIT so i chose it over NITs, IIITs, etc. i applied to top IITs also but could not get because of my rank constraints. as i cleared JEE Advanced therefore i was not rejected rather i was not alloted that because of availablibity of higher rank students. Canditate should have passed 12 th class to appear in jee. we can find the applicaion form, fees and dates in nta website Yes there is a huge reservation process due to which scheduled castes and schedules tribes benefit a lot and women too have edge in this admission process due to reservation to female candidates.
