VTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After joining the course with 3 months of starting of the course the placements will be startedforthe students to apply for the placements. Tier-1MNCs companies are visiting for the college which are proving high package . The highest package got is 94LPA and average package is 10LPA. 95% of students got the placements.

Most of the colleges are closing out civil branches which in future will raise the demand for civil engineering branch. Apart from this reason i was very much interested in structural engineering hence i choose this stream. Semester end exams(SEE) will be made approximately once in 6months. Continuous Internal evaluation(CIE) will be once in 6weeks.

I feel that the curriculum is a bit outdated. We still study about all the chemistry , physics and all as computer science engineers whereas what we need is real life problem solving skills. So it would be better if the curriculum was modified

As I was interested in this course and also I done my research about this course and the scope in the future .staff would teach with real world applications. so I was learning with entusiasm.exam s they were conducting was very strict and prompt and timing was accurate.

you become eligible for placements from 6 sem as i got placed during tht sem only in TCS and my everage pacakge was 3.6 lpa . tcs cognizent comviva capgemeni tech mahindra are some companies that will visit regurlarly but bosch dellloite are some supremem companies that will visit and u can crack those if u have nice knowledge . some 70 percentage students will get placed . i got job did 1 year bt now doing masters because of my interest

there is no placement provided by college. no compaines or any offer were made to mtech guys from 2nd year intership & project thesis will start you can start job in intership if have good links with the company.

From first sem itself pg cet will be getting their campus placements highest till now is 36lpa and minimum is 8lpa and profiles are offered based on the branch 90 percent student will get placed.My plans after getting the degree is doing one more degree

The papers are difficult it is very hard to pass the subject because the passing marks for 100 is 55 so it is quite hard to pass and also the examination department is very strict so one has to be prepared throughly with the subjects

Basically i took biotech as i was actually interested in this course. MVIT never failed me to lose the interest. My teachers are always available for supporting us. Even for internships and projects, they actually supprts us a lot.

Placements for each and every different company are coming and conducted exams and selected for different positions. Within the college itself. We got placement in 2nd year itself. The placement officer is a good.
