- VTU is inviting applications for VTU Eligibility Test for Research (VTU-ETR) 2024 for admission into PhD courses for the academic year 2025. The Applications will start from October 18, 2024, and the last date to apply will be November 09, 2024. The VTU-ETR will be held on December 15, 2024.
- Applications are invited for admission to BE/BTech Honours degree programs for the academic session 2024-25. The last date to apply is October 30, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications on the official website at vtu.ac.in.

- The college has a great crowd ,seniors are very approachable, they help u whenever u need help
- There are 2 canteens one small and one big both has great, affordable food which are open till 11 at night and big canteen has a lot of variety of food
Dislikes
- Since the college is under construction therefore we are not able to visit 20 percent of college including 1 ground and sports complex
- Since parking lot area comes under construction zone therefore remaining ground is made parking lot in which cars are parked till college hours
Course Curriculum Overview:
RV college has tried designing the to keep it relevant to the current day jobs and their students can get good high paying jobs. but the course taught is not up to the mark some times as the syllabus is not completed and then teachers took the extra class to complete it before the exam since there is ETC the student can choose from many topics which they find interesting like drone technology,IoT and many more and can gain knowledge from experts in that field

- I like the parking facility in my college, has a huge parking lot.
- I do like the canteen of the college which has many dishes

- I do not like the lab components which are very old.
- I do not like the teaching of many faculties

The course provides a good set of interesting and educational subjects but there are also a few subjects that are outdated which is provided by the vtu. There should be subjects related to the new controllers.

- Infrastructure and environment, Clg timing was good 9 to 4 with one hr break

- Faculty were strict enough which gives school feeling

I was trying for Cs but I got EC which is little bit difficult as it involves maths and physics more but it's best counting learn many things and teaching method was good which made us understand easy

- The experience of staff, teachers, and professors is the best thing in the college.
- The College infrastructure is too good separating various branches as well as degrees in a whole different building.

- The only thing is there is too much crowd in the college with lot of branches and degrees coming inside the campus.

As it is vtu affiliated college, they follow vtu rules and regulations. The question papers of the semester end examination also comes from the visveswaraya technological university. The difficulty level of examinations is easy to medium. Scoring good marks in internal assessments help to boost the cgpa.

I chose this course because of my brother recommended my because high scoop in the future for computer science and suggest hand-on method on Java or paython...ect, because we will get experience through that

- I like the faculty in the computer science department which is well experienced and help the students whenever they want

- The college does not have a hostel which is a major drawback for me
- The college timing is very early in the morning which is another drawback for me
