College ambiance is actually very good for education, and is very eco friendly, neat and green.
Experienced and well educated teachers. They are more work holic and is very supportive for education related topics. Guide us for good internships, job roles and many more.
Everyone in there is so hard working. Will make sure that each student is well known with the course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Basically i took biotech as i was actually interested in this course. MVIT never failed me to lose the interest. My teachers are always available for supporting us. Even for internships and projects, they actually supprts us a lot.

Class Size: 5Course Fees: INR 960000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for a year is around 1 lakh for mtech, which is very less compared to many other colleges. Amd moreover it is affiliated to one of the best university, VTU. And they provide a good percentage of placements

Campus Life

About clubs, there are actually a lot of clubs in this college, and arts fest, kalanjali is one of the best that happens in mvit. Others clubs are all active throughout. They also take students for industrial visits, to their course related industries. Its very students friendly.

Admission

I appeared for PGCET exams, for all karnataka pg admission test. I cleared the exam with a pretty good score . Exam was all ok and later all screening goes through KEA, and through there we can apply for the dollege we need to get into.

Faculty

Teachers in here are actually well experienced faculties. Most of them even have doctoral degrees, and motivates us more into studies. A lot of faculties even have a number of paper publications and guide us in a right path

A mini heaven on earth called NITK

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Mtech Thermal Engineering because I was interested in thermal subjects like Fluid mechanics, Heat transfer, CFD. The Curriculum is pretty decent and it does covers the fundamentals and advanced topics of the particular subject but it could be better in terms of imparting practical and industrial knowledge. The exams that are held in NITK are competitive and requires a good understanding of the subject. You simply cannot cram and get good marks in exam. You have to know the proper implementation of that particular formula or theory.

Placement Experience:

After joining the course with 3 months of starting of the course the placements will be startedforthe students to apply for the placements. Tier-1MNCs companies are visiting for the college which are proving high package . The highest package got is 94LPA and average package is 10LPA. 95% of students got the placements.

Campus placement conditions have improved in IISc after the inception of campus placement cell. Average package is around I would say 25 lpa. Since most of the students go for higher studies from IISc hence, you will see the placement percentage to be low. Personality I am also going for higher studies.

completely fabulous journey
