IIIT Banglore Experience

The rankings and placement were the driving factors in my decision to attend IIIT Banglore University. IIIT Bangalore has a robust placement record. IIIT Bangalore is one of the best institutes in India, and because the campus is spread out over 10 acres of land, the student population is low compared to other colleges. I passed my GATE exam and applied for enrollment in the college through their website. After being accepted, I was called for a GD and PI round, which I passed and was given admission.

The curriculum is up to date, and all of the most current innovations and tricks are taught to us through the program's curriculum. The curriculum allows us to explore our creative abilities while also developing our decision-making and problem-solving abilities. The faculty of the university is not only PhD-level but also very professional and has extensive research and industrial experience, which is extremely beneficial to us. Their teaching methods are a combination of theoretical and practical techniques.

The college internship programme is well-designed, and we must participate in it at the end of the first year. The average internship stipend is around 65,000. To be eligible for an internship, we must complete 90% of our class attendance.

IIIT Banglore is well-known for its placement opportunities. The college not only has high educational standards but also offers competitive placement packages. Every year, the college retains a 100% placement record, with the highest selection package reaching up to 46 LPA and the median wage package being around 19 LPA, which are very good packages in contrast to many engineering colleges of such stature. Members of the college placement panel are also highly professional and have extensive industrial experience.

Our college provides scholarships to the needy on a merit basis through schemes like Student Merit Scholarship and Utkarsha Scholarship.

The college is located on approximately 10 acres of land. Although the college is small, the infrastructure is well maintained, and the college is kept clean and tidy. The college classrooms are well-ventilated and equipped with air conditioning and a digital board. Many informative books by best-selling writers from all over the world can be found in the college library. The college labs are modern and well-maintained. A basketball court, badminton court, and volleyball court are also available at the college.

The rooms are well-ventilated and equipped with beds, almirahs, and study tables. The accommodation is available in a triple, double, and single sharing configurations, with single sharing rooms available for M.Tech students. The food in the hostel is good, and proper cleanliness is maintained. The hostel wardens are knowledgeable and the hostel staff is well-trained. The hostel's surveillance system is also excellent.
