No entrance exam required for this college. Since i had done my BSc, opted to do MSc in this college. Good infrastructure, lab and faculty made me choose this college.

It's really good. Helps a lot for research interested ppl. Having direct contact with Bangalore university.

Welcome freshers, Ethnic day, sports day, Farewell, intercollege debuts, quiz, Farewell and convocation.

Campus Life

Gender ratio 6:4, girls and boys respectively. Good lab, workshops. Overall very good. Students from all India studied in my college.

Hostel Facilities

I would rate 10/10. Very good hostel separate for boys and girls. Good food. Sports encouragement etc.

A mini heaven on earth called NITK

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Mtech Thermal Engineering because I was interested in thermal subjects like Fluid mechanics, Heat transfer, CFD. The Curriculum is pretty decent and it does covers the fundamentals and advanced topics of the particular subject but it could be better in terms of imparting practical and industrial knowledge. The exams that are held in NITK are competitive and requires a good understanding of the subject. You simply cannot cram and get good marks in exam. You have to know the proper implementation of that particular formula or theory.

Padmashree institute of management and sciences has the best core subjects and also epth the optional subjects. It has a very good combinations of subjects, like biotechnology, biochemistry and microbiology. And biotechnology biochemistry and genetics. And also biotechnology, biochemistry and EVS.
