Remarks

Positive point environment of college is awesome in term of coding culture. Negative point is separate counselling procedure. 50% students (other state) is admitted thought JOSSA and 50% (Home state) admitted thought separate counselling procedure.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

IIITB takes admission on the basis of Jee main rank but 50% students (other state) admitted thought jossa and 50% students (home state) admitted thought it's own separate counselling. I think it's no a good way of counselling procedure.they should take admission all students through JOSSA.

Placement Experience

4

Placement of IIITB is really good about 95% students get placement but few students good package and rest of them placed in IBM & Infosys. IIITB also provide internship but only Dell come to provide internship.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of IIITB is expensive. Fee Per semester of B-tech students is 1000000 approximate. Fee of IIT & NIT is also almost same but I am saying it's expensive because there is no any facilities of fee concession in IIITB(specially for other state students) on the basis of parent income but in IIT & NIT there is fee concession on the basis of income.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no any scholarship opportunities for other state students. Only home state students take the advantage of scholarship. Tution fee waiver is also applicable for only home state student.also there is no loan facility is provide by college.

Campus Life

4

There is lots of opportunities for extra curriculum like sports or game. Every year intra and inter match is organised for sports lover. Lab infrastructure is really good almost all type of labs are present like IOT, AI, e.t.c.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes, I have opted for a hostel. The hostel facility is good. there is three types of room single (10000/semester), double room (14000/semester), single(20000/semester) WiFi, washing machine, facilities are available.

Alumni/Alumna

As per my knowledge there no any eminent alumni so can't comment. Off course senior student are really helpful. They always guide whenever we need. They organise event for their juniors like workshop on IOT, arms workshop, etc.

Admission

I admitted in 2017 at this time IIITB had a separate counselling procedure but After 2017 this college is in JOSSA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) and take admission through JOSSA counselling and 50% seat are reserved for home state student and for this 50% student IIITB takes its own separate counseling.

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.

This is the best part. The whole point of niat program is to get a study for the job. It's not like the old system where you chill for 3 years and panic in the 4th year. All the learning here are very different. From the first day itself we will be doing coding.

Students at RVCE become eligible for campus placements typically from the seventh semester onwards. Several reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering a wide range of job opportunities to students.
