Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification required for admission to the Integrated M.Tech. programme at IIITB is a first-class in 10 + 2 (or equivalent) with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Students expecting to complete the minimum requirement by September 2023 may also apply.

Selection Procedure:

The current year admissions to the I.M.Tech. programme is solely based on the NTA Rank in the JEE Main 2023 exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) (this criterion is subject to the minimum qualification requirements mentioned previously).

At the time of admission each student needs to pay one-time Library Deposit of Rs. 4,000/-.

Likes

Professors are really talented and knowledgeble. They are very cooperative and helpful as well.
Peer group is very awesome, since everyone holds similar range of ranks.

Dislikes

I think the campus size is little small, although it is very optimised so this could be a little disadadvantageous sometimes.
In the first and second year worrkload is high, although those works are very rewarding eventually.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee varies year wise, first and second year - 1.6 lakhs per seamester third and fourth year - 1.92 lakhs per seamester fifth year - 2.3 lakhs per seamester Hostel Charge - 38k per seamester Mess charge - 28k per seamester There are various scholarships such as Utkarsha Scheme , which provides tution fee reimbursment for top jee rankrer Then there are cgpa based scholarships,those who score more than 9 cgpa ovrerall are awarded with 50k scholarship for that year.

Likes

I like Infin8 fest in our college I enjoyed a lot in the fest there will be a dj night.
Sports fests are good at our college. I enjoy participating in this.

Dislikes

I don't like food here . I don't say it's bad but I don't like some of my friends like mess food
College life is so hectic after you move to 2nd year

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees are so high that on an average for 5 years, you get to pay 600000 per year for an integrated MTech course. There are some scholarships available. You can get up to 50,000 scholarships if you are in the top 5 of your batch every year. Jee ranks below 1000 and can study without academic fees.

IiitB at its best and worst

Likes

Sports fests called spandan , premier league -1, premier league-2
Gym and library equipments and seniors will be highly good

Dislikes

Food as it is not spicy in the mess and will be led salty
Curfew timings as it is from 10.30pm to 5 am

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee you should pay will be increasing for each sem as you go up. We will pay almost 5.5 in full 1st year,then 6 in second ye,6 in 3rd yr, 7 in 4th yr same in 5th year (all are in lakhs). We can pay through bank loans through education loans which will provided easily from nearby canara bank where every one in clg will take from..

The fees is 6 lakhs per year I.e 3 lakh per semester. There are concessions for students who are in Dean's merit list. To get into the list, a student needs to get atleast 3.6/4 cgpa.Stident can also take loan easily.

I liked the food here and how friendly all seniors are. The gym is very good after renovation and professors are very friendly and knowledgable(But i personally don't like some).
The clubs do a good job and the fests are good. very competitive environment

Dislikes

majority just study all day and very hectic environment
gender ratio is bad with 1 girl every 17 boys

Fee: 500000 /yr and a slight increase every 2 years to accomodate for inflation inflation complete cost: 5 years course +hostel ->30 lakhs We get health insurance included and scholarship if we score a cgpa of 3.6/4 or above

Tution fees is 2240000 , hostel fees per semester is 30000 and mess fees per semester 30000. I dint get any scholarships but if we are above 3.6 Gpa we will get scholarships of 50 k per year which is sufficient .

The fees is really high and hostel stay is mandatory. Girls have some extent of fee waivers and scholarships but the rest have nothing. From third year onwards TAship could give you around 15000 a year but looking at the bigger picture it is really high. Placements in the is th eonly major relief unless you are already rich.

Expectation vs reality

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee hikes don't occur. Instead they are predetermined in the fees info page on the college website. As of 2023-24, It costs about 30 lakhs to study here. Jee Main rankers holding rank below 999 get exemption from 22,40,000 rs of tuition fees and there is a generous scholarship for female students as well. On campus jobs are limited to roles like Teaching Assistants or Research Scholars.
