Dislikes

As there is no rerservation in this college so there is heavy competition among students .

Admission:

So I was getting IIT Mandi Mechanical , VIT-CSE ,IIIT-Allahabad- ECE(CSAB) but i chose this college because of the quality of education and the course curriculum along with the good placement every year and when i consulted and talked with many people who are working in industry they told that CSE is the future branch so yeah and also the city is banglore itself which impacts very much and also i thought that when i am getting CSE in a tier -1 institute it is best to take it over other options. IIIT-B provides UG admission on the basis of only JEE Mains CRL, there is no reservation policy here , the cutoff for BT-CSE was about CRL-8700 (99.4 percentile approx) the overall admission process is very smooth it mostly online and we also have one offline campus round in which we can sure shot confirm our seat .

Admission:

I have applied to other colleges through josAA counseling I have got nit warangal ece. But I felt this is superior college to nit warangal ece because of placements and the bangalore city. We should apply seperately for the college counselling which is purely merit based and through jee main rank.

Admission:

The main motivation of choosing this college was the location and the faculty profiles , I saw the coding culture of the other colleges and iiit banglore and I find it too good relative to other ones, people from the first year itself have started codeforces, codechef and other coding platoforms for problem solving, many of them have qualified gsoc as well in the 2nd and 3rd years .

IIITB, only one more i but no less opportunity

Admission:

1) I applied to NIT Rourkela via jossa cousneling and got addmisson there. i chose this college because of its placement data and review about fauclty that i got. 2) No i did not apply to many colleges as there was no need to because of my jee percentile. 3) Admision process is very simple. College prepares their internal rank list woth respect to students who have applied and their JEE crl rank. after that every student in line is given chance to choose their brach(respect to availabiltiy of branch). Once branch is chosen then we have to report to college and then further paperwork is done.

IIIT-B A Designer's view

Admission:

I had applied to many colleges such as NIT K, NIT Trichy etc. I had got accepted to all the other colleges but I chose this over this as the course curriculum is better. I am from Bangalore so making this decision was helpful. The admission process is fairly simple, the college only considers JEE Mains for enrollment. Cutoff in my year was around 14000.

The application process was quite long as we had to fill up an application form then wait for the acceptance then we had to give an entrance test and qualify it with atleast 80 percent and then pay fee structure to joinm the college.

Yes, admission to IIIT Bangalore M.Tech CSE course is done baed on GATE scores followed by CCMT counselling to get selected.
