Dislikes

The college is too strict with attendance,if a student’s attendance is below 85 he has to pay a fine of ?5000,?3000 and ?2000 and if the student has a less than 75% attendance then he/she is detained which is very wrong ~ Abhinaba Bhuyan, BA

Likes

Christ mainly focuses on overall development
Encourages students to participate and connect more events to improve their skills
We can get to know people from different places and cultures

Dislikes

Highly strict with respect to following rules and regulations
Pressurise students with back to back assignments and projects
Maintaining a high attendance percentage to write semester examinations

Course Curriculum Overview:

The accountancy aspect of this course influenced me to choose this particular course BCom Accountancy and Taxation. This course curriculum delves into a deep understanding of accountancy and in taxation. It makes us under how the tax system works and what is required for the business. They can implement more practical methods of teaching than more theoretical techniques. Frequency of examination is often but then written exams are not conducted much and only for mid and end sem.

Likes

The exposure to diverse programs,clubs and activities. lots of culturals organized by the students itself.
Great Campus vibe, helpful seniors and approachable teachers, well-structured labs.
Amazing faculty, great peers and career opportunities.

Dislikes

Timings of the college is more or less like school, difficult for day scholars especially in second year where classes begin by 7:30
continuous lab tests, loaded with assignments, CIA's

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements only from the third year. companies come in prior for internship roles and smoe even offer PPO . Top recruiters are Salesforce, IBM, WellsFargo, Honeywell, Aspire systems, Infosys, Tcs, Wipro, Accenture, Aditya Birla, Cognizant, Capgemini. minimum package was 4.5 for 3 year ug programs with average of 6.0 lpa and highest of 20 lpa. 80% of them get placed across work roles such as HR Trainee , Full stack developer, management trainee, financial analyst.

From 4th sem, placement starts coming Aditya birla, coats, TVS, TCS are some of the companies that have come - 11 out of 73 got placed I plan to apply in various companies and find a full time position

Christ might be shit, but sure is fun

Likes

The campus is quite aesthetically pleasing and has a lot of facilities that help the student grow in a lot of ways and doesn't let them feel bored.
Everything is quite open and safe for the students here. There's strict policies against ragging and the people are quite friendly and not cocky.
The number of fests and events held in all kinds of fields is just astonishing. There's like a billion opportunities for a student regardless of the thing they're good at.

Dislikes

The number of leaves they give us is too short. A person living far from his home gets to go just 2 times a year to meet his family which is very very less and irritating to be honest.
A few of the teachers are more interested in the student's personal lives instead of teaching their subject
The attendance system is beyond shit. If you need medical claims, you need to run around for hours if not days to get it approved and a person with injury is as good as dead getting the claims done

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements from 6th semester. The placements on an average range from 6PLA TO 8 LPA. Big companies like GOLDMAN SACHS and Deloitte and deshaw come for placements. Overall, it's a decent college in terms of placements.

Christ- A university You must think about !!

Likes

The fests and various societies in the college
Various events inside the college which provides with various insightful knowledgeable
Anti-ragging pocliy and the overall connection with seniors and how friendly they are

Dislikes

The attendance policy which is very strict with 85%
The fact that we still have a uniform policy in the college
The class timings and the fact it's not flexible

The faculty they treat you like there own child weather you are from the bca background or not u will feel the same inside the clsss
Seniors every senior is friendly and we can count on them moreover there are no ragging if there is any senior will be there to help and college will take a serious action

Dislikes

There are some flaws in clusters as there are a lot of people
Outlets are expensive a little can cut some cost
Hostels are expensive a little adding Extra lakhs of money

Placements are very nice google amazon google pay oaypal and many more industries and MNC's Teachers also help u to get youre dream job and giving you the best LPA making it easy for us to enjoy our lives too

Nice infrastructure and resources , a well organised library and so on . Have access to lot of online resources also that is provided by the college itself
nice faculty , they have a counseller and all for students who are having trouble in academics and so on .
Lot of extra curricular activities to engage and the college is always alive due to events and all

Dislikes

the attendence policy of 85% , this makes it difficult if we are doing other courses along with college mainly internships
Hectic co -curricular such as we have 3 assignments among one is mid semester other than end semester

Placement Experience:

For placements, if you want to be seated in the placement cell you should have at least 6cgpa. Other than that the placements are solely related to your individual CV there is nothing the college can do about, if you don't have a good CV so it is necessary for the students to build a nice CV along their grades.The percentage I am not that sure about the placement and all, as I said earlier it is solely based on your performance. My plan after this course is to get a job and I hope it will happen

Likes

The one thing that I liked most about the college is there discipline.
Then the campus is also very good, newly built
The faculty is also very professional. And has a vast knowledge of their field of specialization

Dislikes

There were many exams , assignment in a single semester only
They focus only on academic and do not do any type of enjoyment for students
The professors can be little bit better with students

Placement Experience:

From 2 year you will be eligible for internship and for permanent job you will be eligible in 3rd year. Companies like jp Morgan Chase, standard chartered Bank, zomato, Deloitte e&y are some major companies who visits The highest package will be around 1400000 and average package will be around 600000 Around 80% of student will get selected My plans after this degree I will do 2 year job for some work experience then I will do my masters in finance or I will open up my own business

Likes

Lot of clubs like theatre speech business sports
Holistic educational development, personal growth
Getting us ready for the realities of the corporate worls, good student teacher interaction

Dislikes

One thing I didn’t like that’s much is about the leave we can take leave but for medical leave there is a certain criteria to be met
There is a quite bit of assignments given
Focuses om other daily life aspects other than just teaching
