I actually have a pretty great academic background so i got into every college i applied to. basically i applied to 3 colleges: Christ, Amity (mumbai), Mount Carmel. I chose these colleges as I only wanted to pursue dual majors and these were few good colleges that offered them. I did not select Amity because it was ranked lower than christ and mount carmel. the main decision was between mount carmel and christ, but when i was thinking it through i did not wanted to go to a girls college plus the carmel's placement was slighlty lower than the placement records of christ. Lastly, in terms of psychology and economics, christ university is among the top colleges in India to get into and hence i chose this course. There were two rounds of admission: first the application round, once your application gets shortlisted you will be called for an interview annf micro presentation. Based on combined scores of both the rounds, your admission will be decided. The admission process was very structured.

Christ College Life: A Rollercoaster Full of experience

Admission:

I chose this college over other law colleges because this provides a good location advantage, and also it has a great reputation, also it provides really good future opportunities. This college also provides better placements than other colleges. Other colleges that were better than this college are national law universities, but I was not able to get admission there because my CLAT rank was not high enough to get admission. Students have to give an exam called CULEE to get admission in Christ, and eligibility is for anyone who has passed class 12th from a recognized board. Also, the entrance exam is divided into 2 phases: one is a computer-based test, and then an interview.

Admission:

I had applied to VIT VELLORE and also had got a confirmed offer letter from them but i decided to stick with christ because of the opportunities in bangalore.They provide us with internships from 2nd year onwards.The admission process for christ was pretty simple . We have to go through a interview and a micro presentation . The acceptance ratio is around 15% for this university .

Admission:

I choose Christ University over other colleges as I had heard various positive feedback about it. I had a lot of seniors who had passed out of Christ and had developed very positively. Christ gives a good mixture between academics and extra curriculars which was perfect as I didn't want to miss out on any of those. It also helped me learn really well about managing my time. Moreover, it developed me as an independent being and I learned how to take responsibility.

I received admission into SJCC, SYMBIOSIS, NMIMS & CHRIST UNIVERSITY. The admission process for all these institutions were almost the same, more specifically for Christ, the student is required to go through 2 rounds first being the entrance exam and second personal interview + writing ability test. Christ stood put as a better option mainly form the price point and return on investment

I chose this college for its placement and the exposure u get as a student. when u communicate with students with different stats, backgrounds and cultures u learn a lot nd can create good connection with people . the crowd is really diverse and it has various campus and has good reputation and brand value . most of all it is very well discipplined and cultures with every rules and regulations . no i didn't get rejection from any colleges I only applied for christ university and jain I got in in both the colleges admission process was only for 2 day that is first u attend entace exam which was average they give subjects and email u every subjects u have to prepare it and write the exam in your near center which will be alloted to u , and u can select any campus and appear for interview according to ur availablility , in that there ll be 3 stages which is skill assessment where ull write about a specific topic that they'll give u , next u can give ur interview when they call u and 3 rd they'll ask u to talk about a specific topic for a min u can get the anticipated toics from their website

I chose Christ university over st josephs and Jain. I recieved confirmed admission from all the 3 places but I chose christ because of its placement records, infrastructure and its campus life. Christ University admission process is competitive. It includes an exam, interview, micro presentation, and an essay writing along with a detailed checking of your profile and previous marks. The cut off is usually 85 to 90% of your grade 12 score.

All you need to know about Christ Deemed to be University

Admission:

The other colleges I applied to were SJU and Jain University. But my first and only preference was Christ University. I chose this college over the other two because Christ is known as the top college for commerce in Bangalore. I didn't get rejected from other colleges because I never proceeded after application as I got into my dream university. The admission process in Christ is you have to apply for the course you are interested to pursue and write an enterance exam once you clear that you will be called for round two that is written assignment, interview and micro presentation.

What are some tips for a personal interview at Christ University, Bangalore?

It depends on whether you will be pursuing an undergraduate course or postgraduate degree. If you are aiming to pursue an undergraduate degree, then you will be asked questions based on your knowledge of classes 11th and 12th. For postgraduate students, you will be asked questions from your graduation course. Be thorough with the basics as the interviewers want to test your knowledge of the subject. The questions are not very tricky and if you have an understanding of the subject, then you will be able to answer the question easily. Also, you will be tested on your communication skills and how well you can convey the answers to the interviewer. Do not lose your confidence, if you are not able to answer a few questions then let the interviewer know and they will ask you different questions. Do not be nervous as the interviewers are very friendly.

Due to the lockdown, Christ University took admission interviews online. The interview includes a micro presentation. You will be given 60 seconds to brainstorm your micro presentation topic and then you will have to talk about it for 90 seconds.

The interview usually starts with an introduction round. Students are asked questions about their background, achievements, work experience, etc. There will be questions on the subjects you had in +2 level. The difficulty level of the questions is moderate. One of my friends had the chance to appear for the PI and Micro Presentation of Christ University Bangalore and shared his experience of the same. He claimed the overall process to be intriguing but not as challenging as he had expected. He was asked very basic questions during the interview some of them being

The interview began with his Introduction
They asked him about his parents and siblings.
He was asked why did he choose the specific course.
During the Micro Presentation, he was asked about his vivid experience
Then he was asked some questions from the class 12th syllabus.
Then he was asked the reason he chose Christ University.
Lastly, they asked him about his backup plans if he failed to make it to Christ University.

The overall interview went pretty well and he later got selected!

A BBA degree from Christ University focuses on the various aspects of marketing, business administration, management, operation and human resources. The B.Com degree from Delhi University focuses on finance, commerce, economics and accounting. You need to have passed your B.Sc with 50% minimum aggregate and then apply for the PG entrance test to get admission and the selection will be done by a Micro-presentation, Personal Interview and Academic performance.
