CHRIST (Deemed to be University) was born out of the educational vision of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, an educationalist and social reformer of the nineteenth century in South India. It is one of the first institutions in India that has attained the top grade “A” in the 4-point scale by the NAAC. Christ University Delhi was administered in the year 1831 and was ranked 2nd by “India Today” and 8th by “The Week” in 2019. Christ University Delhi believes in honoring deserving students for their achievements in co-curricular and academic interests by providing them. These scholarships are granted to students who have achieved extraordinary achievements in the fields of sports, co-curricular activities, extracurriculars and academics. A brief information about Christ University Scholarships are as follows:

Merit Scholarship: Under this scholarship scheme, scholarship per student can vary between INR 1,000 to INR 10,000 for the eligible students in each class. Candidates who have secured First Class in all the previous semesters with a minimum of 70% aggregate marks and a minimum of 85% attendance are eligible to apply for this scholarship scheme.
Scholarships for excellence in sports, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities: Under this scholarship scheme, scholarship per student can vary between INR 1,000 to INR 10,000 for the eligible students. A rollercoaster ride: Fun Learning

I really like the campus life and the faculty at the CHRIST Campus in Delhi NCR. The life given to students was quite good along with teachers who focus on all round development of students. My time in CHRIST was an unforgettable journey
I was a part of NCC in CHRIST Delhi NCR, which played a major role in my holistic development
The faculty members also believed that practical knowledge is more important that bookish knowledge.

Dislikes

There quite a lot of people in the canteen area and it lacked management of students during lunch hours.
The fees for hostel was quite high and the number of room were also less that is the reason why we had to shift out after 1st year.
The college was super strict about ID Card and students were denied entry in college without one so that was something that used to be a problem sometimes.

Student view on course curriculum

The course of BBA (Bachelor of Business Adminstration) was quite wholesome as it included not only classroom lectures but also included a lot of project work which carried more amount of marks than the written examinations . We were also taken out for various field trips in plants and companies to explain the manufacturing and corporate working in detail.

Internship opportunity provided by the college

The college gave us two internship opportunities that were as follows: 1) Working with NGO 2) Working with CHRIST Consulting Group Both the opportunities that were provided in 1st and 2nd year of BBA and CHRIST had a direct role to play in it.

Top company recruiting from the campus

The placement that were offered in the year 2020-2023 were quite good as companies like Delloitte, AON, KPMG and EY were amongst the mass recruiters and gave students ample amount of opportunities to sit for the best placements and receive good packages even after bachelors.

Yearly fees structure and scholarship

The basic fee was Rs. 1,65,000 (including all the fees) but the only drawback was that they used to charge too high for hostel accomdation facilities that was 45000 for 6months. The scholarships are provided to students on the basis of merit, co-cirricular etc. and it used to be on yearly basis. The college gives immense number of opportunities to students by offering a wide range of placements.

What does student says about campus

The campus life is one of the best about CHRIST. I honestly iss my college so much that I would say yes to go back in a heartbeat. The infrastructure is such that you won't feel left that you are away from home because the campus starts feeling like a home away from home.

Hostel facilities provided by the college

The hostel facility fees is definitely high but the hygiene maitaince is top notch and the warden is also quite understanding and supportive towards students. The facilities that are provided within the hostel are quite satisfactory but adhering to the rules is a must.

Admission process of the college

The admission process in CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR was quite smooth keeping in the COVID situation in the admission year of 2020. We had to go under an admission test process known as CUET, after clearing the exam we got a mail mentioning about the online GD/PI Process. The GD and PI process was quite smooth and the topics given to us were quite easy. The exam is held once in an year and the students can appear for CUET after thier board exams.

There are few cafes inside the campus and hence we could eat at those places instead of going out.

Admission:

Admission is through University's assessment test as we were asked why law and so it more than interview as it was to know our perspective. This is the way admissions been granted at Christ University Delhi NCR campus.

Christ University Delhi NCR campus is bigger than many and clear than almost all.
One of the safest places to study as security and atmosphere wise our university is the best.
Definitely the best moot court halls as our college has hosted not just domestic but international moot court events too.

Admission:

Admission is through an entrance as in Christ University of any campus the entrance is more than mandatory. Eligibility is entrance and also 60% or more in 12th be it any subjects. Students or Arts, Commerce and Science all subjects were welcomed.

My dual major experience at Christ

We have extra curricular activities, fests.

Dislikes

Sometimes it’s too overwhelming between fest exams etc.

Admission:

I got into various other colleges OP Jindil University, Amity University, Delhi University. The reason I chose Christ was with academic approach and dual majors-I thought it would be very fun to learn other major media and other colleges I got into not Academy focused. Christ is very academically. Focus it as discipline, and I heard from students, teachers, so that is why I choose Christ.

good exposure for kids to grow and flourish. Good student crowd. People from all different backgrounds are there and students are mostly smart and are willing to learn new things. Overall good exposure for students
Regular events and seminars are conducted with guests lectures

Dislikes

Attendance policy is very strict and follows mandatory 80% attendance

Admission:

I took admission in this college by the name and fame of Christ University, Bangalore Campus. However this is a very new campus with not much exposure as Bangalore campus also the placements aren't great

Admission:

My college is known for its discipline, strict rules, and regulations; the faculty are well-qualified, and the fees at my college are less compared to other good private law colleges in India. To get admission to Christ NCR, first we have to take a test, and then after that, students have to give an interview in offline mode. then, after that, different campuses of Christ are allotted to the students according to the performance of students.

Admission:

okay so let me discuss what went wrong in getting into the colleges i preffered earlier , because my clat scores did not meet up to the eligibilty criteria of the NLU's . But Christ University Delhi Ncr being a private law college also provides admission and to get through the process the peer has to pass an admission test and then an interview with the college faculty members.

My Experience at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR.

Admission:

This college has the best infrastructure and the facultu members. They treat you like their family members. Only the placements are not good. Otherwise this college is good for other things. There are so many eateries and areas to chill around. You will just love it once you visit the campus and have good food there. Rooftop cafe is the best part.

The Honest Review of Christ University, Delhi NCR

The events of Christ university are magnificent and very enjoyable
Infrastructure of my college is the best in entire Delhi NCR according to me.

Dislikes

The politics and baised behaviour of some teachers and some students towards north indian and south indian students or maybe on basis of religion (hindu, Christian, muslims) as well is a major problem here

Admission:

What distinguishes Christ University Delhi NCR is its structured academic approach, the character of the education offered and the focus on co-curricular activities. Adequate facilities and comprehensive syllabi are geared towards capacity building and critical analysis making learning practically oriented. In contrast, for Symbiosis who offers a more industry-integrated approach and DU with its large legacy and heterogeneous crowd, Christ narrows down the ratio of students per class for more individualized care. Moreover, due to the assurance of discipline, cultural events and placement opportunities, students yearning for an all-in-one educational experience will find the institution very appealing. Other than Christ, I applied in Symbiosis Noida and got a confirmation as well, but the confirmation came too late. Christ demanded to submit the fee before the confirmation from Symbiosis came. I got rejection from IIM Rohtak because of the low rank I got, I think the study I did was not enough to get me into IIM. After giving entrance exam for Christ university, I was selected for PI round (at that time it was online, but now it is offline). After getting selected in PI round I got the offer letter and link to submit the fee. I submitted the fees and after a month the academic year begin.
