Course Curriculum Overview

4

Comparing all other courses available in the college and with my interest and based on suggestions from my teachers I chose bcom in accountancy and taxation. In the first year the subjects were not related to taxation. From 2 year we might have focus on the specialisation

Placement Experience

4

As far as I have heard Christ is good when it comes to placements. They also teach us how the things work in interviews. We have many skill development classes apart from the subjects which builds confidence

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees per year is 160000 scholarship is 20000 For BCom accountancy and taxation So the total fees is 140000 It is the total fee including tution. Initially I paid 5000 for registration Fees changes based on the course opted.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is really good. It not only focuses on academics but also many other events cultural, business, finance events etc. There are 2 libraries in the campus. There are many sports events as well.

Admission

I have been studying in Christ for a very long time. And when it comes to placements I've heard that Christ is good. And it also focuses on overall development of the students so I applied there. There is an entrance exam interview and a micro presentation to be passed to get into the college

Faculty

4

We have 3 internals of which 50% is taken and added to the final exam. We also have 5 marks for our attendance. Every student must maintain an aggregate of 85% attendance which is mandatory. The faculties are approachable

Interview Experience

4

We haved many skill development classes in which we had practical group discussion. We were taught how group discussions work. How to behave what body language to maintain was taught. And were also learnt about how we will be marked in GD

Night Life

3

It's always busy there so it's kinda safe. There are many shops outside the college and also in college canteen. The college will be open till 8pm Students can go to library even on Sundays But it's not too safe to roam at late night.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
