Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was designed in such a way that it does not pressure the students it was 6 months per sem so it was easy to study and pass those sem Each teacher has their way of teaching methods all to help us.

Internships Opportunities

I did bcom honours so we has to do one internship for every semester so totally I did 5 internships and one project. Other courses also have these internships they will do it in the last year of college

Placement Experience

From the last semester you are eligible for campus placements Their is a separate division which works for placements called has placement cell If your percentage is anywhere above 60% you can sit for the placements

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 120000 per year which is 60000 for one semester this is the whole Tuition fees it includes development fees infrastructure fees lab fees etc. It is different for SC and ST category they have a deduction of 30%

Campus Life

Their are a number if technical festivals it's very well held like small businesses held by students Their are variety of books and magazine almost for all courses or what your looking for. The extracurricular activities like sports, cultural programs are offered their are inter college competition held

Hostel Facilities

Hostel has facilities like bed, fans, cupboards etc The meals are included for 3 times a day including snacks if you opt for hostel but if you don't want to get meals you can exclude it and pay just for accommodation The process for registration is simple you just need to fill a few details Their are a ton of PG for both boys and girls PG which is walkable

Admission

I has applied to Deeksha college I didn't go for that college because of many things like infrastructure was poor the teachers were not well enough. The admission process is very easy you just have to cross a cut off which is mostly 85% and above

Faculty

For every 20 students we have 1 teacher the ratio is very well balanced apart from class teachers we also have mentors who guid us throughout the college life it's very helpful we can go consult them when we want. Most if the teachers have a PHD so they are very well educated and also support us throughout

Night Life

The gym cafeteria library almost everything you want is inside the campus but still if you want to go out and get these things done their are number of option around the college The hostel timings is Befor 7PM you need be inside the campus

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented.
