Course Curriculum Overview

5

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as the detailed fee structure is concerned for it charges 10,000 for the books per semester and some amount for the ACCA registration. The total fee structure for the BCom Program is Rs.6,45,000. Scholarships are also provided based on different criteria, one being the academic criteria of 10tha nd 12th that ranges upto Rs 1,00,000.

Campus Life

4

They overall conduct 24+ events including both academic and cultural based along with the sports. The most valuable one is the buzi buzz that gives social exposure . The classrooms have smart board that is quite good enough as we get to learn more through interactive learning. There are total of 5 clubs of which some are the Cultural Club, CSR Club , LITCOM club.

Hostel Facilities

3

The facilities provided in the hostel are bed , your study table and almirah. Girls hostel are accommodated of double room, where's boys have triple accomodation. It also provides with separate study room which is valuable during exams. Meal quality is good and the menu changes every monthly.

Admission

I applied to Jain University and Kristu Jayanti University, but what let my opinion to choose ISME is that it's international exposure including the Singapore Trip and it's permanent faculty members that I hoped will provide me a real world corporate experience with. I didn't get rejections from the other colleges yet I chose ISME over other. The admission is quite simple yet the interview part was somewhat challenging because of some of the practical questions.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is 1:12. The relationship between the teacher and the student is quite good. If difficulty is faced the faculty members are approachable anytime. There are basically two internal exams witha gap of 1 month in between each for 40 marks to test our vivid knowledge on the topics taught inside the classroom. The subjects are quite relevant to the course curriculum and most importantly the exams are totally based on the Bangalore University curriculum.

Night Life

4

The cafeteria is quite big and the message food is good as well. The library is vast and even the person assists you wither everything you want. The hostel timings at night is till 9:00 pm after which if you want to go out you need to have a gatepass. You will also find nearby grocery shops , medicinal shops , food plazzas as well. Zudio and Max are just at the opposite side.

They worked hard and snarly to design a framework that caters to every industry need. Dividing the bcom course into different specialization by which every student can excel in something they are planning to pursue Also the fact that cfa and cma are integrated in the courses makes them value for money
