ISME, a TOP B-school

The course subjects are very relevant and prepare us for all the requirements for our future company. Not only that,but the college also provides additional courses every semester to help build a student's skill and resume.

During the third year in college , the students are given internships through the college or of their own choice. The internships provide them with a sense of financial responsibility and an idea of the work life ahead of them. Hybrid,work from home and in person internships are ALL encouraged.

ISME has tie-ups with alot of universities fo lectures and companies for placements. They truly focus on the students well being and getting into a good company. Companies like Deloitte,Grand Thornton , PwC and more. An average package of 5 lakhs is offered and most students get placed ,the remaining choose to study further.

The annual fee is 7,45,000. Its done in four installments,the first installment being 2.35 lakhs, the second installment being 1.65 lakhs, the third and fourth being 1.8 and 1.65 lakhs. The college offers scholarship on the basis of merit, starting from 25,000 upto 1 lakh.

The infrastructure is good, classrooms maintained which helps a student focus and have the will to attend college and study. The college focuses on diversity and celebrates all festivals and cultures, respecting people from all backgrounds. From Holi and Diwali to Christmas. The college also hosts CIM, TedX and many guest lectures. The college provides labs for the BCA students with a 100+ computers aiming for effectiveness. Sports activities ranging from swimming, basketball to table tennis is encouraged. People with individual interests are encouraged to take part and excel. ISME supports the Student Development Council who help the students and reach out personally in multiple fields from technical,cultural and sports.

The hostel fee is 1,60,000 for a year's stay. The hostel cafeteria provides meals to suit the tastes of students from all over the country and sweets occasionally. The hostel also has daily cleaning. They provide healthy food to support a balance diet. The hostel makes it easy to reach class on time and accessible after a tiring day. The amphitheatre acting as a common area is a place to chat after a long session of classes.

ISME was very eye catching with their additional courses, international exposure and workshops, internship and placements. Being one of the top B-schools,ISME was a dream achieved. The college has an entrance exam held online, a group discussion and a personal interview as their admission process.

Isme follows the Bangalore University syllabus. The faculty are all well experienced and know their subject. They interract with the students formal and informally to solve issues,aiming for a students betterment. Opportunities provided are ample and assignments and presentations to boost one's confidence. Bangalore University bases our total grade on internal exams , attendance and assignments which ensures that a student does his/her work correctly.

For the admission process, there was an online test held which involved sums and basis knowledge of all subjects. After that, we were divided into separate zoom meets along with a faculty member to observe our communication and leadership skills through a group discussion. A week's notice was given to all students regarding the entrance exam along with the content from which questions would be asked. ISME asks questions relevant to your course and future requirements.

The college has a curfew till 9pm for the hostel students allowing them to balance their college and personal life. The hostel committee also hosts movie nights and game nights to be interactive and improve the attitude of all the students. The college has a cafeteria which a variety of food options and also a library with a variation of books.
