Dislikes

The college is too strict with attendance,if a student’s attendance is below 85 he has to pay a fine of ?5000,?3000 and ?2000 and if the student has a less than 75% attendance then he/she is detained which is very wrong ~ Abhinaba Bhuyan, BA

Christ University - A Great College

Likes

The location of the campus and the environment. The campus is a lush green forest.
Everything is well maintained. Cleaning is regularly done.
The level of teachers are really good. They posses a high level understanding of the subjects

Dislikes

The attendance system basically forces students to attend classes.
The highway in front of the college provides a tough time to travel towards the college.
There are no major facilities available near the college. A good hospital may require long travel.

Placement Experience:

the college provides placements from the seventh semester. Many students, around 90% of the eligible students are placed in various companies with salary packages ranging from 5 to 30 lakhs per annum. the college also provides a fast track program which lets you get placed in your pre-final year. many companies visit the college for placements and most of them hire multiple students.

There is a compulsory attendance of 85% which I think is not good
The infrastructure is quite old and I do not like it

I think the course is good and it's curriculum is also designed according to the industry but i think somewhere lacks the practical skills which student requires to get job and also there is no domain specific

Christ University: Holistic growth and the best you can find in Bangalore.

Likes

The Exposure we get is something that is very useful. The opportunity to network is endless due to the constant fests that take place across an entire semester. It helps you gain experience and really push your limits.
The competitive college environment. In terms of academic, extracurricular and everything it is very motivating and really helps you exceed your own expectations
Facilities: For example the library, the inexpensive bloomberg lab,

Dislikes

The Faculty: At least in my department the proffesors are teaching beyond their expertise and are egotistical.
The Workload: The work is very tedious and taxing.
The Cafeterias: They keep increasing the price but the food is still bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that i am doing is something that is in demand right now. It has the right balance of finance and data analytics. We have a blend of coding languages, statististics, finance and accounting.

Christ is Christing

Likes

The campus culture it has people from all over india
The regular events organised there is always some event happening in christ
The gourmet extension and canteens provide good food and affordable prices

Dislikes

The attendance criteria which is really hard to maintain
Some teachers doesn't let you use laptops in class
The lift is always crowded and has a long queue

Placement Experience:

As you are required to do 5 internships within 5 years most law students end up working where they interned while they were completing the degree but other than that the campus has a placements cell which helps you find campus placements

the football ground is very good i’m an athlete so i enjoy is a lot
the girls are pretty hot i already found my future wife and we support each other
the faculty is great they always boost you and support you for your best

Dislikes

the security guard is a bit annoying he takes photos of us if we r late to college
the principal is like any other princi he is a trickyto bad students and gives them many chances but for good student he becomes likes a doll
the basketball court it’s covered in cracks and the ball doesn’t pitch properly only

the get placement offers from 4 th year lenovo microsoft fell and all other tech brands visit highest package is 50 lakhs per annum by google 80 percent of students get placements ill start a family with my pretty gf

it’s a very vibrant college with a lot of extra curricular activities
teaches a lot of good values, a lot of exposure
very good space to socialize and meet new people of different diversity

Dislikes

sometimes it can get a little hectic due to the assignments and projects clashing with program dates
attendance is very strict, sometimes it can be very hectic

Placement Experience:

The placements are pretty good in my campus, i have heard of people being placed in manorama news for their internships. i'm still in my first year, so i don't have first hand experience when it comes to such things but i have only heard of good things

Likes

I like the overall experience and atmosphere of the college.
I like the infrastructure of the college.
I like the vibes of college,greenry as well as students.

Dislikes

I don't like behaviour of the faculty of my college.
I sometimes disliked the cultural discrimination that students face.

Placement Experience:

Yes the students who got admission in this university got opportunity for placements.There are many companies which provides placement while being in college and come to our college.Some of those companies are Goldman,Sachs de Shaw, Accenture and others companies. Average placement that students got are 7 lakhs for ug students and 11 or 12 lakhs for pg students.

School of Law, Christ University Bangalore Review from a 3rd Year Law Student

Likes

The campus is absolutely wonderful, massive variety of people, the diversity helps showcase various cultures well.
In general, I would say that the classrooms are well equipped, central block where the classes are for law school is jam packed with vending machines and fun spots.
The library is one of the best libraries I've ever seen.

Dislikes

The faculty can be extremely rude and disrespectful, not sure how it is in other places but this is how it is here.
The timings make it seem a lot like your usual school timings.
The dress code can be quite strict and the security and even the students and the faculty have a very elitist, Holier than thou attitude to them

Placement Experience:

The placements are good, students can sit from final year, some get placed in 4th year itself. Companies and Firms such as Trilegal, SAM and CAM come and offer great packages varying from 8 Lakh LPA to 26 Lakh LPA, average is usually 13-15 Lakh LPA, after this degree I would like to do my MBA from UOT or NUS

Vibrant cultural and extracurricular activities with diverse student body from across India and globe and so supportive and inclusive environment and modern facilities and infrastructure
Access to well-stocked libraries and digital resources with mentorship programs, academic guidance, career counseling, placement services and sports and fitness facilities

Dislikes

Strict attendance policies, heavy workload and emphasis on rote learning with limited flexibility in course selection.
Limited funding for student clubs and organizations, restrictive policies for events and activities and prioritization of academics over extracurricular.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BSC Physics Chemistry course is one of the best combinations as it objects to develop foundational knowledge in physics and chemistry , apply mathematical and computational tools to solve problems and cultivate analytical and problem-solving skills . There are experienced faculties with research expertise , well-equipped laboratories and research facilities and interdisciplinary approaches and projects with industry collaborations and internships .
