Course Curriculum Overview
They have introduction to legal procedures in the first sem as well as law of torts and political theory which helps us develop a little bit of political background and the HED classes provides us with valuable life lessons . The mandatory kannada classes could've been avoided though considering there are lot of students from different parts of India
Internships Opportunities
The new socialising app called Wyb is one which offers good internships with stipends of 5k and then we have volunteering in social activities for extra credits which helps you out in your grades as well
Placement Experience
As you are required to do 5 internships within 5 years most law students end up working where they interned while they were completing the degree but other than that the campus has a placements cell which helps you find campus placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The course costs 2,40,000 per year, registration fees is 1.5k and there are uniform fees which is 3k uniform includes a blazer white shirt and black pant along with a black tie , some scholarships are available, no hidden fees or extra donations
Campus Life
We had the event Darpan in August which is mostly a cultural competition including dance offs musical battles , gaming tournaments and everything, then there is ethnic day which happens in September where every culture is represented and comes together to celebrate it even has a dj . there's plenty of scope for sports activities and the campus is filled with student run clubs and commitees which one can opt for after class hours
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is considerably nice and better than most PGs the rooms are spacious and cheap considering the price, there is not water availability issues and there is optional mess option as well the only problem is the curfew you have to be back in before 9:30 and do a biometric scan a fine will be collected if you miss the biometric scans
Admission
I only applied for Alliance University and I got accepted after my interview there but considering how Christ is ranked much better in NIRF and has better placement values I went for christ after I passed my interview rounds , The entrance test and interview rounds were considerably easy if you were preparing for CLAT
Faculty
Faculties especially law faculties are helpful and you are free to go to them if you have any doubt or whatever , the best faculties include Sharmila Ma'am the best English teacher I've seen she has also written a lot of academic papers and gotten featured , The exams are as mid semester and end semester mid semester exams are comparatively easier than end sems basically u just need to read through and learn to write like 3-4 pages per answer and you can score well
Other Applied Colleges
Alliance University | Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] + Bachelor of Laws [L.L.B.] {Hons.}
Christ has better NIRF ranking
