Internships Opportunities
College provides internship opportunities to every department with limited selections. Candidates have to go through Aptitude and Personal Interview to get selected. Candidates are provided with stipend for their duration of internship. Deloitte, Target, BNY Melon, Haldirams, etc are few renowned companies that came for internship.
Placement Experience
Campus placement starts from 5th Trimester. Students are provided with numerous opportunities for placements and are given good placement training during the placement season. KPMG, EY, Deloitte, LAM Research, ICICI, etc are few of the most reputed companies that have come for placements in the beginning of this placement season Highest package offered: 2400000 Average package: 900000
Fees and Financial Aid
430000 This is entirely tuition fees Additional fees will be collected as and when required by the college Students have to pay 5000 registration fees in the beginning which will be deducted from the final fee payment if the student is selected If student is out of Karnataka they have to pay an additional fees of 10000 And NRI students have to pay an additional fees of 50000. Every student will receive 10000 scholarship from the college during fee payment which will be reduced from the fee to be paid
Campus Life
Magnovite and Ushs are the flagship management fest hosted by the MBA department. There are various number of clubs to which students can enroll and represent Christ in other management fests. There are infrastructures provided by Christ with respect to cultural and sports clubs
Admission
I chose this college over other colleges due to it reputation and placement opportunities. Christ is highly reputed throughout India and provides good placement opportunities compared to other colleges. When surveyed with other students, I received postive feedback related to Christ University
Faculty
Every faculty know their department students by name and have personal track record of students. Faculties are highly knowledgeable and have very vast knowledge related to the subject. There are few faculties that are old and out dated according to the current system and may cause few issues during teaching. There are 3 internals and 1 final exam
Interview Experience
There are three rounds in the selection process First round is the Group Discussion round. I received a topic related to Artificial intelligence and it's impact on education. Second round was impromptu speaking, where I was provided with a topic on tackling global warming. I was asked to speak about this for 5 minutes. Last round was the person interview round
Night Life
The campus closes their gates by 9:30 PM and hostel students aren't allowed post this. Students can stay out of hostel upto 9:45 PM post which they are not allowed into the hostels. Canteens are opened till 10:00 PM for students to have their dinner
