Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose this course because I get to learn and explore multiple area of a subject which not only helps me gain knowledge of one specific domain like normal degree but gives me a bigger view which might heelp me open better oppertunites tomorrow because these day and upcomming future they look for people with a better persepctive and some one who can handle multiple things ,skill set and ofcouse tech language so if you guessed right Ya this course I feel has matched this criteria . Our university I think also provides support when you seek .

Internships Opportunities

3

I do not know much about Internship opportunities but I do know there is a center for that too in our campus were you can approch if you need any help or guidence . I can tell more about it once I come across them right now I am not aware of them.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 63,000 every year this is excluding my schloarship . This is over all I pay , the fee also dependa where you are from the fee is different for students fron different state and NRI . I got a schlorship of 20,000 so that help me with the reduction of my fee

Campus Life

3

Campus life overall it is a really nice experience , we have multiple clubs in most of the domains some are departmental some are college level in cultural like dance, music, coire, drama, theater, arts, creative, street play, environmental, peer support ,NCC.... a lot more. I am sure you can find your self some where in between them. When it comes to library there is online and offline support in my campus there are 2 library and they are good but I think they can improve more and ya the online gives you acess to many journals and many resources and also if u have to renew your book you need to do it online and ya u might be surprised to know we have library attendence to which appers on are student portal so how many hours you spend there can actually be tracked.

Admission

Ok so when it comes to BSc Life Sciences as a course I think in Karnataka I guess only 3 educational institutions provide one is Christ University, Mount Carmal College(MCC) and Atria University as of I know . As soon as i got to know I applied and ya I got selected in all three (that was surprising for me too) so I got a chance to choose so I had to do it wisely finacially , reputation , facilites, campus etc I considered so Atria was out of my list even tho it had many plus points just because it was too expansive for me , they charged around 3L per year which was too much when compared MCC and Christ .So now why did I choose Christ over MCC this was simple , Christ is a university and had an option of Honers with research and I also got a schlorship here worth 20,000 and ya they have their way of selection which you can find them on their website and ya it is also clear there so you will not have a problem understanding it.

Faculty

4

So the faculty to student ratio changes from department to department I think not sure about it but I am sure about the fact that they don't overlode the class room with students mostly it is 60 to 1 max not more than that and when it comes to my class like lab we are divided into to batches and also get required attention also we have a prof and a PhD schlor to guide us during the lab hours.

Night Life

4

So if you ask me of hang out places I might not know but I can tell you about the uni , there is an arena where there is gym snooker ,courts for many games ,Zumba zone and cafeterias tho there are many like each block has one and don't talk about the food is good or not but the vibe and ambiance is soo good my personal fav cafe is Birds park and in its name only you can see there are birds there which is actually adoreable and nice place to sit . After 5 or 6PM you can find soft music that is played in the campus which really calms your mind and ya you are safe inside the campus.

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester, We have our internship as IIP. The companies coming are namely, Blackrock, Oxane, Zepto, Informatica and more. The placements are going well for Marketing and Finance. The Highest package is 50lpa and median is 10lpa. But if you stay in top 10-20% in your batch you can get, 13-14lpa. The profiles offered are of management trainee, financial analyst, data analyst, etc. Around 60-70% of the batch gets placed, but cracking interviews for placements is in student's hand.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
