I had applied for colleges like Jain University, VIT and Christ University and got selected in all three colleges. Christ University was my first preference and glad that I got into Christ University. The eligiblity critieria in colleges like VIT and Jain University were simple and no exams or GD or interviews. Christ university had an aptitude exam, an interview too. Basis this, a student will get in. The reason why i chose christ was because of the goodwill it has for BBA which others dont possess. Ok so when it comes to BSc Life Sciences as a course I think in Karnataka I guess only 3 educational institutions provide one is Christ University, Mount Carmal College(MCC) and Atria University as of I know . As soon as i got to know I applied and ya I got selected in all three (that was surprising for me too) so I got a chance to choose so I had to do it wisely finacially , reputation , facilites, campus etc I considered so Atria was out of my list even tho it had many plus points just because it was too expansive for me , they charged around 3L per year which was too much when compared MCC and Christ .So now why did I choose Christ over MCC this was simple , Christ is a university and had an option of Honers with research and I also got a schlorship here worth 20,000 and ya they have their way of selection which you can find them on their website and ya it is also clear there so you will not have a problem understanding it....Read More

I actually have a pretty great academic background so i got into every college i applied to. basically i applied to 3 colleges: Christ, Amity (mumbai), Mount Carmel. I chose these colleges as I only wanted to pursue dual majors and these were few good colleges that offered them. I did not select Amity because it was ranked lower than christ and mount carmel. the main decision was between mount carmel and christ, but when i was thinking it through i did not wanted to go to a girls college plus the carmel's placement was slighlty lower than the placement records of christ. Lastly, in terms of psychology and economics, christ university is among the top colleges in India to get into and hence i chose this course. There were two rounds of admission: first the application round, once your application gets shortlisted you will be called for an interview annf micro presentation. I chose this college over other law colleges because this provides a good location advantage, and also it has a great reputation, also it provides really good future opportunities. This college also provides better placements than other colleges. Other colleges that were better than this college are national law universities, but I was not able to get admission there because my CLAT rank was not high enough to get admission. Students have to give an exam called CULEE to get admission in Christ, and eligibility is for anyone who has passed class 12th from a recognized board.
