Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum at Garden City University is well-structured and covers important topics that are helpful for both real-world jobs and further studies. The subjects are relevant and provide practical knowledge that students can use in their careers. One of the reasons I chose this course was its focus on skills that are in demand, which makes it more useful for the future. The exams are conducted on time, and the schedule is mostly manageable. However, some exams can be quite challenging, and it might help to have more preparation support or practice materials. The course could also include more interactive teaching methods, such as group discussions, workshops, or hands-on projects, to make learning more engaging and practical. Additionally, focusing on current trends in industries would help students stay updated with what employers are looking for today. Adding more real-world examples and case studies could also make the lessons more practical and interesting. Overall, the curriculum is good and relevant, but a few improvements in teaching methods and course content could make it even better. Garden City University has a solid foundation, and with small updates, the course can become even more effective for students.

Internships Opportunities

4

Garden City University offers excellent internship opportunities that give students real-world experience and help them build practical skills. The university works with top companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Decathlon, Amazon, and Bosch. These companies offer roles such as software development interns, marketing interns, HR trainees, and business analysts. Many of these internships come with a stipend ranging from ?5,000 to ?15,000 per month, which adds extra motivation for students. The internships focus on hands-on projects to give students a real taste of working life. For example, at Infosys, interns work on coding and testing software, which improves their technical knowledge. At Decathlon, students get involved in marketing campaigns, analyzing sales, and improving product promotions. Similarly, at Amazon, interns focus on tasks like data analysis and project management, helping them solve business challenges. These internships allow students to gain practical experience, improve teamwork, and understand industry expectations. Many students also receive job offers after completing their internships, making them a stepping stone to full-time careers. Overall, the internship opportunities at Garden City University help students build confidence, gain valuable skills, and prepare for successful careers.

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester which is the second last semester. Infosys, Indigo, Aditya Birla, Wipro, IBM, TCS, Cipla, and Domino's have visited the clg as far as I remember. The median package awarded to UG (3 years) and PG (2 years) during placements 2022 stood at INR 4.5 LPA and INR 7.5 LPA Garden City University placed 146 PG (2 years) and 388 UG (3 years) students overall. I wanna open my own restaurant chain after degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

40k for the first sem and 60k for the next sems. Exam fees is included in first installment and so is application form fees, which is 2000 and 500 respectively. B tech courses are 3.15 lacs per year. St and sc casts have reserved seats.

Campus Life

5

Gardenia is held once every year and lasts 3 days with lots of events throughout it. the library only provides books for the subjects being taught in the campus. every classroom has a big TV which is touchscreen and serves well as a board to write on. Students runt he fashio show department and also the fashion designing department.

Admission

I chose Garden City University over Presidency University because its course structure felt more practical and career-focused. While both universities are good, Garden City University focuses more on hands-on learning, workshops, and real-world skills. This was important to me because I want to be well-prepared for jobs after my studies. The campus environment at Garden City also felt welcoming, and the teachers are supportive and approachable. I did get admission to Presidency University as well. While it has strong academics, I found that Garden City University’s mix of theory and practical learning was more balanced and suited to my goals. Garden City seemed to focus on industry exposure and skill development, which is what I needed. The admission process at Garden City University was simple and quick. I had to submit my previous academic records, meet the eligibility requirements, and attend a counseling session. The staff was very helpful and guided me well. The process at Presidency University was similar, but Garden City’s process felt smoother and more student-friendly. In the end, I chose Garden City University because it offers a better balance of academics and practical learning, along with a positive campus environment that supports students in every way.

Faculty

5

Faculty to student ratio is 1-50, faculties are very chill and very cool and you can genuinely have an open convo with them. I like Hemalata mam, our OB teacher, she's super chill and funny, you can literally go to bar with her and she'll tag along. I don't like Shilpa, our MF teacher, cuz her teaching methods are very childish, like she is teaching small kids. there's IA quizes and only one wirtten exam in the end of sem. almost all students clear exams so no worries.

Night Life

3

college provides gym but theres gym near college campus too. There's a park very nearby and lots of lakes to visit and chill. lots of restaurants around too, to have lunch and dinner. There's bars and restaurants a little far from university, it's very safe to roam near clg around night since police is available and roaming nearby 24/7.

Other Applied Colleges

Presidency College | Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA]

Too far from home and fees too high for the teaching level or so I've heard.
