Course Curriculum Overview
BBA General means financial insights and I wanted to gain that. Our curriculum is as good as it can be as case studies, practicals and all makes it amazing. Exams are super tough though and we barely have a choice to get away with last minute study. There are practicals and internals every semester and we need to score well in each of those.
Placement Experience
Many companys like Infosys, Barclays and others have been KJJs partners and in 2025 the average salary median rose to above 6 lakhs and one of the students even got a package above 20 LPA. So, placements all over are good of KJU University.
Fees and Financial Aid
KJU Bangalore is one of the best universities when it comes to academics. Fees is also affordable as for BBA General it's 125k a year. Since I have also taken hostels, the hostel fees is also 120k a year for girls as girls in our university gets various scholarships and discounts which boys doesn't.
Campus Life
Kristu Jayanti University campus may not be as big as Christ University but our campus is over 50 acres in space. It's a huge campus with beautiful UK type buildings. There are various branches and almost each branch has their department and departmental library too. Prodigy and Samrudhi are our departmental fests and Kala Jyothi is our annual cultural and literature fest.
Hostel Facilities
Girls Hostels of our university are off campus but not much far. However they definitely needs a lot of improvement as unlike college our hostels aren't that clean. Even the food is like just edible because 7.30 pm is curfew time and therefore we couldn't even go out much.
Admission
I applied at Christ University and Presidency University. Christ was too expensive and Presidency University didn't had academics as per the standard I wanted. Thus Kristu Jayanti which is academics best and also fees affordability is there, I have taken this college through KJU entrance examination.
Faculty
KJU has top level faculties as I am doing BBA General and faculties that are provided to us are mostly MBA grads. It's not end as more than half are PHD holders as well. Their teaching is insane and so is their commitment towards us. So when intent and commitment are right you know things will only go North.
Night Life
Banerghatta National Park is one place to explore near our university. Lalbagh Botanical Garden and Cubbon Park too are close to our campus. I am a Lord Krishna Devotee and I am glad that Iskcon Temple is also close doors. Theo Cafe and the Daily Bean Cafe are our food joints every week atleast once.
