Course Curriculum Overview:

The BCA curriculum influenced my choice due to its strong mix of theory and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world IT jobs. More industry tools and projects can improve it. Exams are regular and moderately difficult.

KJU is a class university!

Likes

KJU means academic driven university as academics is what that matters here.
One of the most disciplined college of DU is ours.
Events are conducted on departmental level like the ethnic day, traditional day and all.

Dislikes

Too much hectic as no other University in Bangalore is as hectic as ours.

Placement Experience:

Many companys like Infosys, Barclays and others have been KJJs partners and in 2025 the average salary median rose to above 6 lakhs and one of the students even got a package above 20 LPA. So, placements all over are good of KJU University.

All about Kristu Jayanti College

Likes

It is a beautiful campus with lots of greenery. There are trees and plants and bird cage too
There are canteens to hang out with friends.
There are stationery shops right infront of the college and inside the campus too so you don't have to worry about missing on a document to be submitted.

Dislikes

For someone who travels through buses, it will be very difficult to find empty buses.
Travelling will be hectic if you from far away places.
It is the worst in rainy seasons to travel especially if you are a day scholar.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So I took this course because of how deep understanding it can get you. We often don't pay attention to the small details on this Earth. But, when it comes to forensic science, it has given me so much to wonder that even small things matter for in example an evidence to be produced in court. Forensic Science is not really known to people but the people behind all those labs working hard for justice to be served is really to be spoken of.

The teachers are soo friendly with students
The teaching techniques and ideas are good
The ppt and information they give is useful

Dislikes

The computer lab will be always occupied so it's hard to use it in free period
We don't get more events in order to enjoy but on learning side we have more events
We have to do more projects with less time and od problems are there

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards we are eligible of campus placements. As per now I have no idea about the companies visited and the offers made. But we spoke to our seniors they have said that some good companies had come.

A honest Review of KJC

Likes

Well maintained Campus with almost 4 blocks and a lot of canteens
knowledgeable faculty and a lot of interesting and practical subjects
A lot of fests and programs almost every day

Placement Experience:

We have a separate placement cell, and everyone interested can join in for the same. We have students placed in target, Deloitte, Accenture and other companies, both domestic and international. Students in the final year can be eligible for the campus placements.

a good environment to nurture and built our talents
The decorum they maintain for each events and sessions that creates a good effect for our own behaviour.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum includes necessary skills like C , Ds in the first semester itself and includes SQL+ for database management for 1 st year students of BCA data Analytics with Additional courses to pursue like google analytics etc

The affordable College for your career- Kristu Jayanti College.

Likes

It gives importance to minorities and lower caste of society making it a safe space for them.
The student and mentor ratio is 1:20 which is very good.
It has all the essential subjects in the curriculum.

Dislikes

Very much strict towards the dress code and attire.
Infrastructure is decent but pretty small in my opinion, they should expand their campus according to the number of students.
The clubs and societies are very inactive except a few.

Placement Experience:

I don't think you should opt for Kristu jayanti if you are looking to get a job, because the percentage of getting placed is very low. I have recently seen the students getting placed in the poster and I was in shock to see out of 640 students only 8 of them got placed with a decent package.

Likes

Very much diverse, with opportunities for each individual in their interested field
Fun interactive classes and the faculty members are very much understanding and friendly
Many events are scheduled per academic year which makes college life fun

Dislikes

The campus can be a lot bigger as the number of students are increasing at a rapid rate
The location of the college is not something I am very fond of

Placement Experience:

The campus placements here is very worthy of the years spent here, good package is received by many students as the end of their final semester. I am not really sure about the highest pagal age and stuff but surely I've heard from seniors that the placements are really good with some being picked by Google also

My College Review

Likes

The college have a green campus and they have been marked A++ by NACC
Our college have huge library where we can access to many books newspapers journals etc.
Our college have sports facilities we have many sports like football, basketball, badminton, volleyball and many more. We do have intercollegiate tournaments.

Dislikes

Boys are not allowed to have long hair, colored hair, ripped jeans and they have to be well groomed and clean and follow the dress code.
Girls are not allowed to wear skirts, ripped jeans, colored hair and they should be well groomed neat and clean.
The students should maintain 75% attendance if they do not maintain they will have to face the consequences.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Life At Kristu Jayanti College, Bengaluru!

Likes

Campus Life is really amazing, it's very refreshing to walk around the parks and gardens after a busy day.
The college chapel is really peaceful if you want an escape from the rush of assignments and attendance.
You meet some of the most intellectual people here to befriend with.

Dislikes

Some teachers are really very particular about discipline, any minor inconveniences could lead to them not giving attendance.
The code of conduct sometimes feel suffocating, for every other thing you have to write a letter to HOD and get their signature.
The college canteen and stationary are managed by people who are biased. They provide service to those who speak their native language then they will serve you.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in 3rd year. Many companies visit the campus, some of them are Amazon, Microsoft, Cognizant,Dell etc. The average package last year was 6.5LPA for BCA. The job profiles majorly are data analyst, software engineer etc. Personally, my plans are to aim for a higher package and time for developing more skills so I'll be pursuing masters too.
