Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because I wanted to be a researcher. This course is good if the student want to be a researcher. There are more scopes in this course. The faculty members should improve their teaching methods by being more practical teachings rather than theory.

Internships Opportunities

4

We do have internship opportunities for the students and college do provide opportunities in different companies like Milk industry, soap industry, and many other industries. We have to do internships every semester and we have to maintain a internship diary which we need to show at the final year. Few of the companies also provide stipends to the students during the internship upto 10,000.

Placement Experience

4

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Fees and Financial Aid

For 1st year we have to pay 70000 and for 2nd and 3rd year we have to pay 80000 respectively and we have to pay the semester fees separately. The college do provide the scholarships they are Jayantian Achievement Scholarship, Jayantian Talent Scholarship, Jayantian Upliftment Scholarship for the students.

Campus Life

4

My overall experience in my college is good. As we do not have ragging. We do have many clubs where students can join and learn many new things. We do have a huge library where you can access to many books and journals for your exams and assignments. We do have sports activities like football, basketball, badminton, volleyball and many more. We also have social clubs where we help the needy and poor people from our club.

Admission

I chose this college because it is very strict and disciplined. We have to follow the Jayantian code of conduct. This college degree is quite valuable if you are planning to study abroad. The admission process is easy if you are shortlisted you have to give an interview and for few course they do conduct test for the selection of the students.I didn't apply in other colleges other than Kristu Jayanti.

Faculty

4

The relationship between the students and the faculty members are really good. They help students and guide them. The bond between the students and the faculty members is good. There are total six semesters and it is not that difficult to pass the examination. Only few students get backlogs but, they take help of the teachers to clear the exams.

Night Life

4

We have a great night life inside and outside the college. Our college is open till 8:30 pm where the library, cafeteria are opened for the students and they also can play the sports till that particular timing. We also have gym facility for the students. The best place to hangout in college is the turf the garden and the basketball court and cafeteria too. The best place to hangout outside college is nearby cafeteria with your friends.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.
