Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is always changing and adapting to the market and we have proffesional working employees always give feedback on our courses whether to add any new skills . We are always given 2 extra courses completely free from proffesionals in every semester which are certified courses helping students enhance their resumes when they are as freshers. Our curriculums include more of hands on experience and learning making it very easy for me personally as well to cope up with the working IT industry. The frequency and timing of the examination is at the end of every semester giving us adequate time to study and revise and even learn more eventually .

Internships Opportunities

5

I got internahips at Nerds & geeks . Co and at supertails as an intern at just my 5th semester. My roles here are as a full stack delevoper intern and project management operations . Our entire syllabus was made with different courses at each semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees i pay year-wise is 2,11,000 that includes all examination fees for 2 semesters. I'm a management student and i was the first batch for engineering in Garden City University. The fees for me has not increased and the total fees will be 8,44,000 . Our examination fees is 3000 and we had to pay a caution deposit of 5000 which will be refunded. The first batch CET has a fees structure of 1,11,000 only and their total is 4,44,000 . There is no donation amounts and every year there has been an increase of 100,000 to CET and management respectively.

Campus Life

3

Our college fest is Gardenia which is conducted every year for three days and its a very big event . My college has a strict no discrimination to any religion, caste or culture so we dont have specific targeted events but centeralized events .

Admission

I had actually initially planned my education in Canada and went through Collegedunia to get through with it and had applied for Advanced diploma in mechatronics in humber college . University of Manitoba and conestoga college and i got offer letters from all three but due to loan issues i couldnt make it and then had to select where to study in India and selected Garden City University at the University fair in Palace Grounds after havi a talk with all major universities professors there. I chose A levels in 12th and opted for two subjects maths and physica which does not make me eligible to apply to VTU or BU affiliated universities in Bangalore and i had to go to autonomous university only but the other top universities like Jain chirst dayananda sagar and PES had very high donation fees for engineering courses from 1,00,000 per semester upto 20,00,000 in total which i couldnt really afford. There is when i realized for Garden City University i was an ideal student.

Faculty

4.5

We have a very good faculty- student ratio because the first year batch when i joined was 283 students which are 4 divisions and we had around 12 professors and a dean and hod now wr have 3 batches of students with the second batch having 439 students and the newer batch with almost 500 too and this is just for engineering we have the highest strength. The relationship with faculty is very good and they are bery easy to approach. My favourite faculty are Prof Ashwini and Dr Yeshodamma who is also our HOD. They are really good at teaching and they make it a comfortable environment. We have two exams per semester. One preparatory and one end semester which are both online in our university portal. It is easy to pass if we catch up daily. We have had a 97% pass rate

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
