Course Curriculum Overview

3

curriculam is the main aspect that made me decide to choose this course, they teach every part of forensic investigation like photography, digital forensics, crime scene investigation, toxicology, forensic medicine. This includes labs and real time cases and real world applications.

Internships Opportunities

3

Gocybex and clue4evidence and state forensic labs are offered comapnies and organisations provided by college. No stipend is desirable in our department but in other departments they recieved 20000 per month as stipend and also got placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Intially i paid 27000 as registration and first semester fee and later on for every january and june i paid 77300 including exam fee per every semester. Exam and lab fee is 2300 for every semsester. Management will be charging 3000 extra for a blazer. There is no other fee structure for category basis. There is a scholarship that we can apply for if we have 85% in +2, this reduces our overall tution fee about 1 lakh. This scholarship is merit based.

Campus Life

3

I enjoyed my college life by spending most of time in classrooms and labs which made my college life so intresting as the topics i learnt at my department are so usefull. There are many clubs like theatre arts, sports, dance, singing so far. There will be two events celebrated every year freshers and gardenia. Library is so big and e library is also available. There are two libraries in campus where you can borrow and return the books. Every student should be participating in the sports and extra curricular activities as they carry credits on campus. NCC and NSS programmes are very much sincere. We have a portal called grms which helps us to monitor attendence, assignments, announcements, fee details, and also grievence for complaint

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel rooms were very good and well maintained. Hostel rooms are 2 types, single sharing of 60000 (at my joing time) double sharing of 45000. Now they updated the fee for hostel. No mess available, but if you pay food from campus cafeteria will be served at hostel food area. Hostel room contain a cot and study table with chair, and wardrobe for each. Registration is available in grms portal and also in campus. after increasing of hostel fee i shifted to room which costed us 12k per month including maintenece. our room is located in Bayanna Layout in battarahalli

Admission

I applied in christ university and jain university in bangalore but the fee structure is quite out of my budget and as boy from small town i got afriad from the fast culture in those universities. I didn't get a rejection from collages i applied but i stepped back after visiting management and looking at fee structure. Firstly you should register with your details, you can do that online or you can walk in to campus. Management will be clearly explaining every aspect of admission. No exam is required for admission, eligibilty is to have minimum aggregate of 40% in previous acedemics

Faculty

2.5

There will be a faculty for every 10 students in every department. faculties are very friendly and approchable they clarify and encourge no time what. Namely Rakesh and joemon from forensic science department are very much aware of students and help us. There are some faculties, no names mention, personally i feel they are not capable of teaching and why to come and waste students time on reading presentations. Exams are sometime difficult based on the subject and syllabus. only few of us are failed to clear as they are irregular to classes. Course curriculum is relavant

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very easy for undergraduate students in the first year. I am not aware about the 2nd and 3rd year curriculum. The teaching could be improved in the following ways: Teachers can try to be more informative about the topics they are teaching and give us more details which could help us to crack competitive exam which most students write at the end of their undergraduate studies.
