Each course is well designed keeping in mind of the advances in the respective fields and the placements having a average package of 7lakhs. ~ Abhay Rampure, B.Com {Hons.}
The university is a great place to network with more than 25000 students on the campus. The 8 departments in the university organize inter-departmental programs. ~ Archita Garg, BALLB {Hons.}
Boy girl radio is around 40 to 60 with boys being 40 and girls being 60 ~ Vivian Joseph, BBA
Dislikes
Placements were alright not the best mostly Averagimg 4Lpa so the ROI wasn't really there. ~ Cyril Christopher, B.Tech
The college is too strict with attendance,if a student’s attendance is below 85 he has to pay a fine of ?5000,?3000 and ?2000 and if the student has a less than 75% attendance then he/she is detained which is very wrong ~ Abhinaba Bhuyan, BA
Very strict in terms of attendance. Fine is charged if attendance is below 85percent and if attendance is below 75 percent those students are not allowed to write the exams ~ Bhavya Rajpal, B.Com {Hons.}
Why To Join Christ University Bangalore - Reviews & Rating
Campus and infrastructure is beyond amazing. It has a vibrant and fun campus life you will definitely enjoy. Programs and activities happen every day. It’s a very happening place with a diverse and fun crowd
Amenities are top notch. From the research labs, college food courts, and sports and co curricular features and facilities, to the academic facilities like libraries, knowledge centers, etc. one will truly find the amenities amaizng
The crowd. There is a diverse and fun crowd. You can meet people from all parts of India coming from everywhere.
Dislikes
Strictness. The college can be strict beyond imagination. You will find yourself getting in trouble for the smallest of the smallest ordeals. It can be quite overwhelming
Attendance requirements. The attendance percentage is 85% unlike most colleges that allow 75%. Even for medical reasons to be considered, it can’t go below that percentage which is honestly frustrating
Faculty training. Although christ provides some exceptional and excellent faculty members, there are many others who lack proper knowledge base and skills required for teaching at a university level
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is purely scientific, it is very in - depth and complicated than expected. The teaching methods are both therotical and practical. They update it every year as required. It can be exhausting sometimes, but that it expected in any university. The university is equipped with labs, libraries and knowledge centers to aid in the learning process
The campus is huge and is very peaceful and lavish green
infrastructure is really good and we get long holidays in December
It's a very disciplined college because it's run by father's and it stands as one of the best colleges in India also we have abroad exchanges were christ is associated with abroad colleges and we get opportunity to go and study there too
Dislikes
Attendance should be 85 which is bit too much
college uniform is not there it's kurti for girls and for boys it's formals
Placement Experience:
There are good placements many good companies come and a lot of students are been placed over the year there are many who get placed in foreign company with 40 lacs package and many more opportunities are given by the college
THis college has good exposure to different types of people. Frequent talks with entrepreneurs and other personalities gives opportunities to link with people.
The faculty here gives us enough opportunities and guidelines to how we should proceed with our careers later on.
Teachings and opportunity. The method of teaching and the opportunities offered such as exchange programs, one sem program helps us a lot to discover options.
Dislikes
Hectic Schedule. There is a very hectic schedule here. Frequent labs as well as exams dont give us much free time. This makes the entire schedule very hectic
Course Curriculum Overview:
Giving us more amount of labs made me realise that this course offers more hands on experience than just lecture notes. The classes taken here mainly focuses on hands on learning. The curriculum helps in understanding hands on experiences. As of now, the curriculum can be more inclined towards research applications.. The frequency of exams are quite moderate but the vast topics makes it harder to to prepare on time for the examinations.
The amount of clubs, festing and events that goes on around campus
Huge campus with lot of greenery and good infrastructure
The people around the campus are really good and it’s a very social place
Dislikes
The college and teachers are very strict and there is long procedures for getting approval on even small things
The course will be hard and efforts will have to be put in
This is not something that I dislike but was asked to be mentioned. The boys to girl ratio in my class is around 3:1
Placement Experience:
Students can sit for placement at start of 3rd year. Most finance companies come for placement. Some big companies come offering internships and if selected ones do well at the company they will be offered a job directly. The average placement for BCom is around 8 lakhs per annum. The highest placement this year was taken by a BCom student and he got offered a 25 lakhs per annum package. 99% of students who sit for placements gets places
The holistic development promoted is at another level.
The faculty is really nice and they deal with all our doubts.
Dislikes
I have to wear ID card all the time at college
Sometimes the college gets a little too hectic due to continuous classes
It’s mandatory to have atleast 75% attendance
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course has a club called Stada which invites professionals from the industry . We can learn from their experiences . The course system at christ is similar to the corporate workspace and it prepares us for the industry. The exams at the University seems to be of the moderate level .
The teaching system is really nice. Teachers pay attention to students
The campus infrastructure is amazing. The libraries are well equipped
Students inside campus are safe and there is a separate Anti ragging cell too.
Dislikes
The assignments can sometimes get hectic
The timings are very strict. Not adhering will lead to loss of attendance
The attendance cut off is really strict, with the cut off being 85 percent
Placement Experience:
The placements in Christ University is very good. For my course the average package would range between 4L-10L. And the companies that come in are well known companies like Accenture, Deloitte, PWc, Wissen etc
Disciplined and job oriented curriculum is followed in the college which makes you ready for corporate world.
Placements are good and it provides a better ROI on fees paid.
Exposure in the college is good as it is in bangalore which is silicon valley of india
Dislikes
Too much strictness is there regarding dress code and grooming, we have to be clean shaved all the time and can’t even roll up the sleeves while wearing the formal shirt even if the environment is hot and humid.
The stress of studies and exams are tooo much and schedule is too hectic.
Attendance requirement is 85% which is quite high and every student should be on 85% attendance otherwise heavy fines are charged.
Placement Experience:
The placements in Christ University are good as of i heard from seniors of my course. Approximately 90 percent of students are placed from BBA in many of the big companies like google, amazon, accenture, the big fours etc. From end of the 6th semester you can sit for placements and average package you can expect is 5-6 lakhs per annum. However if you are too good with your skills and have the best qualities then you can land a job over than a package of 20 lakhs per annum. The highest package of last year was 23 lakhs and average is around 5-6 lakhs. My plan is to go for a job after my degree completion and gain some experience to study abroad.
I like how my college is in between the city of Bangalore and the culture of Bangalore is just too good. Because of this we get a lot of exposure.
One thing that I find very interesting apart my campus is that even though it is in middle of the city the campus is big enough and its very green. Are campus gets recognition because of that every year
Even inside of the campus you have so many clubs headed by students that you can join and because of that you connect to a lot of people and don't restrict yourself to your department alone. Therefore it is a good way to connect to other people
Dislikes
What I think that I completed this like about my University is that it's not very student. When students have any kind of trouble and want to approach someone from University they might not be very empathetic to you
Especially the attendance policy that we have to maintain we have to maintain about 85% attendance.
Even the faculty sometimes do not pay enough attention to students and their concerns related to their University they try to put all those blames on the student
Placement Experience:
The highest paiding would be around 20 to 21 lakh per annum which only maybe 3 to 4 students receive and that would be the tirr one form that come for placements next are the tier 2 firms and these places offer up to 12 to 13 lakh per annum. I wouldn't be sitting for any of these placement because my plan is to go back home and start practicing as an advocate
i like the green campus with good resources and clean learning facilities
the girl to boy ratio is 1.5:1 in favour of girls
the faculty holds expertise in their respective subjects and are prestiged over all academic aspects
Dislikes
the disparity of north and south Indian students is prevalent
the schedule is tight with zero to no breathing room
the number of assignments keep pilling and missing one means a lot of backlog
Placement Experience:
the placement system is diverse with major companies participation and the process is easy to follow if not placed on campus the students gets approached by major firms as type prestige of the college is that major
the campus must be the best thing to ever be in bengaluru, with the lush green surrounded around the entire campus providing calm nature to spend more time there, it has got a lot of playing fields and open area where we can just sit and chill
students handling most of the events with more than 50 clubs around the campus
well trained staff with great ability to teach
Dislikes
minimum attendance is 75 and they are serious about it
faculties sometimes take more than expected class to finish the syllabus
dress code is very strict compared to others
Course Curriculum Overview:
main reason to choose this course was that it was easy to complete, and would give me more time for others, the curriculum is very well connected with real life situations as its not only about subjects
