Each course is well designed keeping in mind of the advances in the respective fields and the placements having a average package of 7lakhs. ~ Abhay Rampure, B.Com {Hons.}
The university is a great place to network with more than 25000 students on the campus. The 8 departments in the university organize inter-departmental programs. ~ Archita Garg, BALLB {Hons.}
Boy girl radio is around 40 to 60 with boys being 40 and girls being 60 ~ Vivian Joseph, BBA
Dislikes
Placements were alright not the best mostly Averagimg 4Lpa so the ROI wasn't really there. ~ Cyril Christopher, B.Tech
The college is too strict with attendance,if a student’s attendance is below 85 he has to pay a fine of ?5000,?3000 and ?2000 and if the student has a less than 75% attendance then he/she is detained which is very wrong ~ Abhinaba Bhuyan, BA
Very strict in terms of attendance. Fine is charged if attendance is below 85percent and if attendance is below 75 percent those students are not allowed to write the exams ~ Bhavya Rajpal, B.Com {Hons.}
Why To Join Christ University Bangalore - Reviews & Rating
The campus is always very clean and the campus food is hygenic. The campus provides all necessary facilities and the environment of the campus is perfect for a student.
The faculty is well trained and experienced. More than 90 percent of the teaching faculty holds a PHD in their specific course that they are teaching.
The college is diverse and promotes a good social and cultural life for all the students.
Dislikes
The college is too strict with attendance as we are required to maintain a minimum attendance of 85 percent per year.
We are given a lot of assignments which is common in most of the colleges.
The college expects the students to be well groomed all the time.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements at the beginning of 3rd year. Our college recives placement offers from companies like Wipro, ICICI bank, etc. The highest placement offered for this course was INR 15 LPA and the average is INR 7 LPA.
More than 85 percent students are placed every year.
There are a lot of student clubs and associations that give an opportunity for an amazing extra curricular record
There is always something taking place like fests, competitions, conferences, etc.
Dislikes
They have no regard for students whatsoever. The people here are not at all considerate about anything. They'll do whatever they want to and if you raise concerns, you are basically setting yourself up for humiliation
They don't respect any religious diversity.
Student Snaps:
Placement Experience:
Since I am doing an undergrad psychology course there is not much placements options. But for other courses there are companies such as Deloitte, Goldman Sachs that come for placements. People (very selected few) can apply from second year and walk in their 3rd year with an offer letter in hand.
Infrastructure is cool. The university is also improving the infrastructure by building and replacing many places
Teaching is also good. The professors generally are PhD scholars and have good knowledge abt the course
Integration with professional courses like acca, ca, cpa, cfa
Dislikes
Attendance restrictions. This is the worst policy of the clg. Students should have a minimum percentage of 85 and not only that there are marks allocated to the percentage of attendance you have in a particular subject
Dress code. The dress code is so strict and students can't enter the college without proper dresscode
Id card. Don't enter without id card. Security on duty
Course Curriculum Overview:
It's quite relevent. Especially when u study acca and the subjects thought help to aid our studies. Also the timings of our college are adjusted in a way that helps us study for such professional exams
The dress code for the boys are very strict. That is, we have to wear formals every day.
Our campus is a very green campus, and it has a very nice atmosphere
It is very neat and also very strict when it comes to cleanliness around the campus
Dislikes
We get less holidays compare to the other colleges. Also, we have full days almost every day.
Our college is very strict about the attendance that is, we need to have minimum 80 percentage and also have marks for attendance
The security in the campus are very annoying
Placement Experience:
From what I've heard from our seniors or college placements are significantly lower than how it used to be in the past due to the recession, but there are still people getting placed, and most of them are from the computer science and engineering department I don't know about the numbers, but it's mostly people from the computer science department.
The big campus which is neatly maintained and makes it feel safe.
The buildings being very modern and the events are immaculate
The cafeteria food is so tasty, i eat there everyday.
Dislikes
The strictness of the university, and how the dress code is.
The change in faculty frequently makes it hard to keep up.
The lack in looking after the children's studies carefully.
Placement Experience:
Many companies like Accenture, LTMindtree, Delloite, Seimens, etc. came to visit our college. Out of which many were selected and taken in all the companies. LTM said they had a massive wave of students from Christ and had a positive experience with our college.
I like the ambience of the college and where it is located
There are so many fests happening, and it is so much fun
All the teachers are professionals and good at what they do
Dislikes
The formal dress code is too strict for boys.
It is over crowded and takes too long to get food in the canteens
They are very strict when it comes to attendance, and there are marks for it
Placement Experience:
From what I heard from my seniors, it's pretty low now. I don't know the exact numbers, but it has become significantly lower now because of the recession. Most the student that are getting players from the computer science and engineering department.
Discipline, Exposure, Opportunities and Infrastructure
Personality Development, Events and Workshops
Seminars, Placements and Internship Opportunities.
Dislikes
Strict timings and attendance requirements
Unnecessary weightage to attendance percentage
Lack of creative freedom and independence
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum particularly for BBA is good. The CIAs are structured to make it a social and practical course giving us exposure in different fields. Also there is a range of different specialisation to chose from during our final year.
The location of the campus and the environment. The campus is a lush green forest.
Everything is well maintained. Cleaning is regularly done.
The level of teachers are really good. They posses a high level understanding of the subjects
Dislikes
The attendance system basically forces students to attend classes.
The highway in front of the college provides a tough time to travel towards the college.
There are no major facilities available near the college. A good hospital may require long travel.
Placement Experience:
the college provides placements from the seventh semester. Many students, around 90% of the eligible students are placed in various companies with salary packages ranging from 5 to 30 lakhs per annum. the college also provides a fast track program which lets you get placed in your pre-final year. many companies visit the college for placements and most of them hire multiple students.
There is a compulsory attendance of 85% which I think is not good
The infrastructure is quite old and I do not like it
Course Curriculum Overview:
I think the course is good and it's curriculum is also designed according to the industry but i think somewhere lacks the practical skills which student requires to get job and also there is no domain specific
The Exposure we get is something that is very useful. The opportunity to network is endless due to the constant fests that take place across an entire semester. It helps you gain experience and really push your limits.
The competitive college environment. In terms of academic, extracurricular and everything it is very motivating and really helps you exceed your own expectations
Facilities: For example the library, the inexpensive bloomberg lab,
Dislikes
The Faculty: At least in my department the proffesors are teaching beyond their expertise and are egotistical.
The Workload: The work is very tedious and taxing.
The Cafeterias: They keep increasing the price but the food is still bad.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course that i am doing is something that is in demand right now. It has the right balance of finance and data analytics. We have a blend of coding languages, statististics, finance and accounting.
