The faculty is good, it's a mix of friendly and strict.
Yes we can apply for the scholarships then we can get money firm the single scholarships which are helpful for students.
You will get average 6 lacs per annum easily and the campus is providing very good placements and their support very nice and then prove it good skills to learn it's very good.
Dislikes
Hostel facility is bad because lot of members will there in room and mess quality is poor, registration of hostel is easy and most of the student can get hostel with poor facilities and poor msintainence
Mess facility is not good. they always use bad quality of products to make our foods.
The faculties are of average standard and the administration is also not that good
These insights are automatically extracted from student reviews
I like everything here. The classes and classrooms, hostel, people and teachers here are good
Campus life is good. We can enjoy with friends.
Faculty is good. They really take care of us.
Dislikes
The campus is too big. We have to walk too long.
Placements are somewhat less here compared to other Universities.
Not more than this I can dislike this University.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I want to study it thoroughly and deeply. Teachers are too good here as well as students. All the teachers are well qualified here and are holding their Ph.D. in the same course. We had only one term exam till now and it was good and it was not that difficult.
Campus wide natural beauty and sunsets seen from various places.
The quality of education provided by the world class faculty
Dislikes
Language barrier experienced through some people
Necessity to go to main city for every little need
Hot and humid weather during the months of March-April
Course Curriculum Overview:
The Department of psychology at Central University of Karnataka is one of the best departments in the whole university. The faculty mainly comprises highly educated professionals holding doctorates in various fields of psychology. The faculty is well-versed in English and some are even familiar with Hindi and other vernacular languages. The course syllabus comprises of basic introduction to psychology in the first semester, and levelling up as the semester progress. The faculty is helpful and friendly. They provide us with a warm environment and the teaching styles are easy to grasp. If by chance something isn't clear, the faculties would repeat it as many times as they want.
The sky, the roads, the city, the library, the lectures.
Dislikes
The few facilities, long distance between departments and hostels.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose literature because of my passion and the scope of the field. In our batch there are only 5 students so the student ratio is not that ideal but its fine. The faculty are qualified enough, some of them teach really nicely and some don't but its still much better than state universities. The exams are not difficult to pass but they are difficult to score high.
Way of teaching, the faculties, the infrastructures and also the campus I really like
Hostel rooms are good and really well maintained
Like that big library where we can study and can get any books and eBooks
Dislikes
Only the mess food I don’t like that much
Electricity should be stable. Often the current goes off
Course Curriculum Overview:
Since 9th standard only I always wanted to study psychology and want to help others. And in this university, they are providing English and Psychology as a combination. And I feel this is a nice combination because in psychology we need to communicate and as English is spoken all over the world it helps us in communicating also.
There's no shortage of the faculties. For every class or paper, there is a faculty. All our faculties have Ph.D. degrees. And they teach us using ppts and also use practical applications as examples.
And after completing everything unit or topic they take exams. Which is helpful for the students.
Thing I like the most here is the beautiful skies you get to see every evening
Dislikes
Umm, for the PPL who don't walk much the departments are quite far away from the hostel (about a kilometre or so)
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because I liked counselling PPL as a friend and felt that I can do it professionally as well. The senior students are taught by the faculties and the junior students (up to 3rd sem) are taught by PHd scholars. Students' voices are heard by the concerned authority in the psychology department. About the exams, the faculties make it easy for us to perform academically (only if u are actually studying).
Central university of karnataka has peaceful environment with the area of more than 650 acres with large grounds, open gyms, health centre, auditoriums and all
Coming to the faculty almost all of them are doctorate holders by completing the phds in their respective fields
This is best place for getting opportunities for proving your self as best by performing tasks and all in front of everyone
Dislikes
Weather condition in Central university of karnataka is un predicateble we can not do predict the temperature and climatic conditions in the university.
Not more but we will face some difficulties in the transportation because it is far from the city of Kalaburagi erstwhile Gulbarga
Placement Experience:
There is a few companies visiting the campus for placements to the students like Ajim Premji Foundation and a few other companies. Even though only a few people get placed in the placements drive but there is good value for a university degree certificate. I am planning to do Ph.D. after my post-graduation.
I was always interested in business management and besides, I have a degree in business management only and I wanted to follow it up with a master's in business management. Almost all our professors are well qualified and Ph.D. holders. And they possess great qualities when it comes to teaching. They rely on modern technologies for teaching, they push us always to do something better by giving us assignments which is relevant in modern days business environment. Everything in my college was on time only including lectures and exams and it was really hard to pass due to the standard of questions.
There have been only a few campus placement that has taken place. So I am not sure what I should say about that. I personally prefer to continue my studies after BBA. I might go for MBA after I complete my degree.
