Campus placement is decent. Not very good not very bad. Highest percentage of placement is from mechanical engineering. Heighest package CTC is generally of CS department. A lot of students also sits in off campus placement and some starts preparing for govt exams or for GATE.

Placements is moderate type its just if u have good cgpa and skills u can get a high package of ur desire but if u stuck on average then u might fell short from ur desire package as avg is not so much high leaving some branches

Branch-Specific Placement: Computer Science: 95-100% Electronics and Communication: 90-95% Mechanical Engineering: 85-90% Civil Engineering: 75-80% Plans after getting degree I am planning to do M-TECH from Germany in Mechanical engineering.

College has quite good placements . Average package for CSE is approx 15lpa and overall around 10-11 lpa . Placement percentage of Core branches (Electrical , Mechanical ,Civil , Chemical ) are high , Mechanical have 90% placement , electrical have 88% placememt rate . I myself is considering to pursue for higher studies.

The placements usually begins as the student enters the final year of the college . The training and placement cell of the college helps a lot in getting the students placed .In recent year 2022 -23,a total of 690 students got placed with an average placement percentage of 80% and above . Comapanies visiting the college include accenture ,godrej ,maruti suzuki ,reliance , infosys , tech mahinadra and many more .The maximum package was 173 lacs per annum and average of 16 lacs per annum .After getting the degree , I would go for placements .

Placement of our campus is good ... Mechanical branch average placement is 10 lacs .. last year 84% students has been placed .. cs branch average placement with package is 40 lacs ... Last year 82 % students has been placed

Placements are really good here ! Almost every year 1cr+ packages are seen for somewhere two or three students but also as well you may have 15 lpa as average package for cse branch and other branch especially mechanical have 10lpa average package!????

Placement of NIT Hamirpur is quite good as it provides average annual income of 8 lpa and it is highest in CS branch which is approx 12 lpa and more than 90% students get the placement from the campus

Typically, students become eligible for campus placement from the final year or seventh semester onwards, depending upon the specific policies of the institute .there are various companies visit in nit Hamirpur. some common recruitor are multinational corporations, IT firms, consulting companies and startup etc. Some of the companies that are visiting here for campus placement are Accenture, Bloomberg, IBM, Samsung, Oracle and many more. highest package was 1.5cr and average package is 11 lpa . Almost 87% percent students are getting placed . After I get the degree I would like to get a job in a IT company .

For Campus Placements students become eligible form 7th semester.Campus placements start generally from the month of October and continues till May.Companies in IT sector like Wells Fargo, Orcale, Cisco, latent view etc. visit. For core branches like civil, mechanical, electrical companies like Afcons, L&T, Renata precision, Escorts Kubota etc. visit.Talking to the highest package which was offered was 52 lakhs per annum last year.Average package in our college is from 8.5lakhs to 9lakhs.Number of students getting placed each year are about 75 to 85 percent.Campus placements are generally held in two to three rounds. First one is aptitude and other one is technical and HR interview. Students getting shortlisted in aptitude round are eligible to sit in interview round.My plans after getting degree is to do a decent job in core company and to clear GATE exam. After GATE exam one can join PSU's also.
