- It has one of the most beautiful campus and it it is surrounded by greenery all around. There is 95% placement in mechanical engineering which is my department. We have grand fests like hillfair which is cultural fest and nimbus which is technical .
- We have various cultural and technical clubs and societies which we can join according to our interest and we can join it by giving interviews taken by our seniors.Apart for them we have sports club ,gym with various equipments
- Hostel food is good ,we get all the basic nutrients required in hostel and four meels is there. Apart from them we have good food shops in campus like verka , Amul ,pooja shopping centre ,food court ,food plaza
Dislikes
- There is a lot of restrictions to girls . Intiming is 6:30 for the first year and 9:30 for the rest . And no outings are allowed at the initial period in campus
- There is road connectivity issue as airport as well as railway station are very from college and there is very small market nearby
- Many people here fall in drug abuse and even the professors are very strict and not student friendly

- infrastructure of college is very good have many facilities in NIT hamirpur like gym , student activity centre , almost all kind sports , big campus and every required facility is there for betterment of the individual .
- Lush green campus , flowers and gardens inside the campus .
- Big grounds and newly made SAC student activity centre
Dislikes
- If campus is big sometimes you have walk a long way
- you dont find dominos , mcdonalds , big bazaar like big brands
- Hamirpur connectivity is not by railways or airport

- The college is very prestigious and placement is superb, most of the student placed in final year.
- the environment of the college is good and laboratory is very good for practical.
- All the faculty is well qualified and the teaching style is superb especially by Dr. D nath Sir.
Dislikes
- Ragging is ther at that time but I dont think now ragging is there now these days.
- Hostel food sometime is not good but after our complain they resolve this issue.
- In Hostel students seat is fixed so some of the students not getting any place if they are late.

- The campus is amazing and is very big, hostels and lecture halls surrounded by literal jungles. It also has amazing views from different locations of Triund Mountain range.
- The alumni network is very strong and the overall college culture between students of different years is amazing. It is a place where you grow up from a kid to a mature person.
- The campus is pretty neat and clean, it's hard to find litter on roads and ground. The campus also has most of facilities regarding sports.
Dislikes
- The college board is not much of a listener to a lot of problems and it's getting stricter day by day.
- The professors are not the best, you might find great professors at NIT Hamirpur but most of them are just the typical government job employees trying to pass time

- Overall the college is nice.The scenic beauty of the college is quite impressive. The infrastructure of the campus is well maintained .
- The college obviously provides a nice platform to improve my personal and professional skills and also helps in my development.
- It is a nice place to make some new friends and increase the interactions and build some connections.
Dislikes
- The faculty of my department is not that nice as compared to other branches in the aspect of teaching and personal behaviour.
- The placement status of the college needs improvement.It is not good in comparison of other NITs.
- The strictness regarding the safety of girls is over the line . I mean this much security is sometimes not required and can be annoying for many.

- My time at Nit Hamirpur has been transformative, blending academics with holistic growth, yet the one thing that stood out the most was the serene beauty and peace you get in the campus.
- I absolutely love the senior junior culture since it provides you with alot to learn from the seniors and a healthy environment amongst everyone
- And how can i even forget the delicious maggi you get especially when its raining outside, its heavenly.
Dislikes
- I did not appreciate the in timings for girls as they arent the same for the guys which is absolutely infuriating at times.
- I do not appreciate how there are countless restrictions even in the end of semester 1
- I do not appreciate the close mindedness of people here, since its a hilly and less developed area, its still shameful considering its a NIT
