What would be better if I am interested in both, EE at NIT Hamirpur or CSE at IIIT Vadodara?

Before selecting among institutes, you should decide which branch to opt for. As per the question asked, you must have an interest in both EE and CSE at the two specified institutes. But for electrical engineers, there is a good scope in the government sector. Considering the reputation of institutes, NIT Hamirpur is a much better institute than IIIT Vadodara. In NIT Hamirpur, the alumni base is obviously much stronger than that of IIIT Vadodara. The campus life too is much better in NIT H. The only disadvantage is its location with no direct access to the city. On the other hand, Vadodara is a well-established city with proper communication to other cities. But, Hamirpur is not as bad a location as Mandi, and so is somewhat accessible. NIT Hamirpur has one of the most beautiful campuses in India. So, the four years of engineering are very spent inside the campus of NIT H. No one regrets being on the campus by any means. Considering the above points, it can be deduced that EE at NIT Hamirpur is a better option, having a better college reputation and good campus life.

Collge Tution Fee - 62500 Rs per semester and it is zero for SC/ST/PH students. Per Semester Insitute Fee - 21100 Rs applicable for all the categories. One Time Admission Fee - 13000 Rs applicable for all the students. Fees is not Increasing. People having income less than 5 lakhs get a discount of 2/3 of their tution fees.

Yearly fees to be paid two times per 6 months . Yearly fees is around 100,000 Rs. You can Available remission in fees basis of category income that will lower the fees to 30k per year . Also there are many scholarship facilities from NSP that students can avail scholarship upto 100000 Rs per year. Hostel are affordable you need to pay a sum of total 60K for year .

So year wise course fees is 2.5lakhs for me as I belong to general category and additional 80k fees as hostel fees . For SC ,ST and Economically weaker section have less fees as compared to general candidate. There are different kind of reservations mainly for SC , ST , Ews students and also few reservations for girls candidate

I am first year student. I paid first semester fee about 140000.Reservation in Fee is also available according to your category. My friend is SC category their fee for first semester is 100000.And their is huge variation in fee for General, OBC,and SC Category.

I am paying 87000/- yearly which includes Tuition fees are 0, caution fees are 0, registration fees are 27000, development fees are 0, lab fees are 0, and hostel fees are 60000/- yearly. For other categories than me, fees- 152000/- And I am not taking any scholarship. Scholarship available for students—NSP 125000/- per year, but I was not eligible.

A Campus in natural beauty
