- The faculty of our department is very nice. they have very strong knowledge of the subject and also they are involved in very good research project.
- Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
- "hillfair"-this is the cultural festival of the college two unforgettable nights filled with fun, joy, laughter, entertainment, learning, bonding, interacting with batchmates as well as seniors for the overall growth.
Dislikes
- The placements of my college have became quite bad gradually, and they have fallen quite badly .
- Hostels and their washroom are in pathetic condition. mess food is also not up to the mark . overall hostel condition is not good. almirah and chairs are broken ,
- Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the himachal pradesh

- weather is very good at nit hamirpur considering it is located in hilly area.

Placement Experience:
placements are good since it is a NIT. You become eligible for campus placements is 7th semester. various well reputated visit our campus namely nvidia , samsumg , dericti , tata 1 mg and various other reputated mncs. highest oncampus package of cse 2024 is 40 lpa. and around 70-80 offers are maade on campus for cse branch upto now(march 2024).

- College is nice and beautiful, greenery is there.
- Grounds for sports indoor and outdoor like basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, badminton
- Campus is good with good wifi connectivity.
Dislikes
- Hostel doesn't have enough water in the E block.
- Absence of swimming pool even in such an institute
- Very restrictions regarding roaming outside for first years.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum focuses the student to get familiar with all coures in 1 st year. Then from 2nd year, onwards it becomes subject oriented. The exams have moderate difficulty . Mid sem and end sem are main exams and has 20-60 weightage with 20 internal. Quizzes , tests are taken along with assignment for internals. Attendance rate of 70% is required to sit in end sem exams.

- Hostel facilities are disgusting equally for everyone. Restrictions are too many and unjustified many a time
- Accessibility of the location is much disliked as well
Placement Experience:
Placements here start in the final year only. The average package stands around 8lakhs/annum, where the highest last year remained with CSE student (1.73 crores/annum). Placements for CSE department are quite satisfactory. The percentage was around 70-80 last year but recession has resulted in bad percentage this year. My plans after getting the degree is to further pursue MBA

- Campus is very beautiful. It has very beautiful scenic views. Campus looks more beautiful during rainy season.
- The club culture here helps one for his/her personal growth and development.
- Technical and non-technical fest like Nimbus and Hilffair are fun.
Dislikes
- One thing I dislike here are the In-timings of hostels.
- Second thing I dislike is multiple manual entries while going out of college.
Placement Experience:
Students are almost placed in final year of the course.Companies like CRED,Stryker Corporation,Philips etc. visited the campus for recruitment in 2023.Highest package was of 52 LPA. After getting the degree one can go for higher studies/research etc.

- First thing I liked about this college is definitely it's campus and infrastructure.
- Hostel life is something I enjoyed a lot here.
- Placement is also good in core branches here.
Dislikes
- Placement for lower branches is too bad. so one should avoid this college if they are getting lower branches.
- Locality around the college is not good.
Placement Experience:
Campus placement for core branches is good here. The average package for computer science branch Is near 12-15 lakh every year. In mechanical, electrical and electronics department also the placement is decent. But for other lower branches placement is not that good.

- It is good till now. Clubs and society might be toxic for someone and might be enjoyable for others depending on what seniors you get
- Campus is very good. Filled with trees and beautiful Scenaries. An eye charming sunset and many more.
- Cleanliness of Campus is top notch. Very good

Campus placements of NIT are decent. CSE has an average package of 16 lpa. Other branches average package range from 8lpa to 15lpa.Placement percentage is also decent. You also get opportunity of doing internship in 3rd year

- Technical fest nimbus is a great and excellent
- Hackathons like electrothons are conducted .
Dislikes
- Mess food can be better although it's decent.
- Strictness in hostel and in timings should ve removed
- More canteens across the campus should be opened

7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. No. Of comapanies are good enough like Samsung Google etc percentage placement is 90% with 97% in computer science highest package for cse was 1.5crore .

For first year you will be feel some problems with course as being a cse student studying chemistry and physics make you feel bad .So may be you will feel bad but in perspective of engineering it is good as you get basic knowledge of all engineering courses

Curriculum is designed on the basis of npa 2020.exam are based on your curriculum sullabus twice a semester. Faculty members are good and always ready to help wheter accamadics ar non accadamics problemes.

- I really like my college campus, Its greenery all around my college
- people working here are very kind and helping in nature
- Teachers are very supportive and take their responsibilities very seriously

- exam timings are really very bad . its very tuff to get up so early i the morning.
- there are no barber shops , tailor shops and we have to go outside the campus for this.
- vehicle is not aloowed in campus which is a thing which I also dislike

My college placements are good . Now a days it have been affected a little.from 7 semester we are eligible for
campus placements.
many companies visits in our colege such as Acenture etc.
highest pacage in our college was 1.2 cr in cs
After getting degre I will target the big companies to work and will work on my own idea
