Course Curriculum Overview
Courses of core branches are good here. You can explore many things here can enjoy college life get good exposure and everything you can expect from a good college. Faculties are okay okay not that much good as you can expect and not much bad also. Some are cooperative and some are little bit not but overall everyone is good. Here mid semester and end semester are the two major exams occur every semester and some minor class tests.
Internships Opportunities
Students can apply for the internship after the completion of their second year and starting of the third year. Various companies visit in our campus and hire students for different different roles. The internship amount can be vary from 30000-100000.
Placement Experience
Campus placement for core branches is good here. The average package for computer science branch Is near 12-15 lakh every year. In mechanical, electrical and electronics department also the placement is decent. But for other lower branches placement is not that good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees here is almost 1.25 lakh per year and some other fees including exam fees, maintenance fees, medical fees etc. around 25k is also includes. If you are staying in hostel then 60k will also be the fees including mess and hostel fees. Various types of fee remission and scholarship are available for every kind of student you can visit their official website for all information.
Campus Life
Campus and infrastructure is very beautiful here. It's campus is one of the best in India as it is in Himachal and you can enjoy the beauty of hills also. Lots of fest occur every year. Hillfair is the best event of here. Library is also very good you can find almost every book but limited so claim early. Lots of games and clubs are also here. So overall everything is here you wanna find.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good here. In first year student are alloted Kailash Boys Hostel widely known as kbh .Quality of mess food for first year student is good and rest is okay okay. Registration for hostel is on the same day of as for admission. Fees for hostel and mess will be almost 60k per year. You will be guided by seniors and faculties for registration so no need to worry. Hostel is best option here as for pg you have to hustel hard as they are 2 km away from college gate number 1 and for lecture Hall you have to cover a km distance more from gate
Admission
Admission in this college is done on the basis of one of the most prestigious exam that is JEE Mains. You can clear the cutoff and can join. Here 50 percent seats are available for home state students and rest for others. Reservations are also available for different communities as in other colleges.
