- The faculty of our department is very nice. they have very strong knowledge of the subject and also they are involved in very good research project.
- Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
- "hillfair"-this is the cultural festival of the college two unforgettable nights filled with fun, joy, laughter, entertainment, learning, bonding, interacting with batchmates as well as seniors for the overall growth.
Dislikes
- The placements of my college have became quite bad gradually, and they have fallen quite badly .
- Hostels and their washroom are in pathetic condition. mess food is also not up to the mark . overall hostel condition is not good. almirah and chairs are broken ,
- Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the himachal pradesh

- The clubs are too much overhyped over here.

Placement Experience:
From 3rd year onwards students become eligible for college placements. The top companies that visit this college are Microsoft, HCL, acer , wipro etc.. the highest ctc offered to a student is around 1.2 crores .
The placements vary from department to department.. the cs department offers an around of 14 lacs per yr placement as average.
My plans would be to spend time with my parents after getting the degree :)

- Helpful Staff of the college enhances the knowledge.
- Affordable than other private colleges of the state.
- Placements of the college are great. They also provide good internships.
Dislikes
- The Health Centre of the College must be equipped with more facilities.
- Mess food is not good to go (as compared to mess food of other national institutes)
- No transportation facility inside the campus and as the area of campus is large, it becomes difficult to access the departments.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Architecture Course is impressive but it requires lot of hardwork and consistency. A lot of drawings along with sheets have to be made along with Computer Software work. Overall architecture course enhances creativity skill of the student

- Absurd rules and regulations, no student body to fight for the rights of children
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose architecture as it was my dream to become an architect. The faculty-student ratio isn't good. Moreover, teachers here don't know how to teach students. They just blabber and go. They don't listen to children at all. They are barbaric And Hamirpur being a small and low-key town, put up so many unnecessary restrictions on students which is totally against the law

Students are eligible to sit in the placement drive in their final year. Every number of companies visit the campus and pick up the best from here. Students have a good package and a great percentage of students are able to have a placement.

NIT Hamirpur is a best ever college.
Our college just now got a prize regarding 2nd most beautiful campus in India according to MHRD.
Personally i love it very much.
Surrounded with line tress in Hamirpur makes it more beautiful.
Climate is all over year will remain pleasant.
Faculty is not that much good this is the only negative thing about our college.

Clear jee main exam 1 for enterance in engineering course and jee main exam 2 for addmission in architecture course.i got addmission by clearing jee main exam 2.after clearing cut off merit list is based and you are selected according to merit list.
