NIT Hamirpur (Best Ever Campus)

NIT Hamirpur is a best ever college. Our college just now got a prize regarding 2nd most beautiful campus in India according to MHRD. Personally i love it very much. Surrounded with line tress in Hamirpur makes it more beautiful. Climate is all over year will remain pleasant. Faculty is not that much good this is the only negative thing about our college.

In Bachelor's of Architecture , the Course Curriculum is totally different from other Bachelor's degree. Its like you have classes from morning to till evening 5 pm. You have to work in studios with your drafting table, parallel bars, set square, on sone kind of design projects. Classes will be about 4 hours class each. We will study about Architectural Design, Building construction details, Material properties , estimation & costing of built area , steel structure, low cost housing , urban design , landscaping , product designing , Architectural graphics , perspectives etc. Our exam structure will be like we have our mid term in which we have to give only theory subjects exam. & other sheets subjects like design & building construction we have vivas & jury at the end of semester.

In NIT Hamirpur , there is a lot of opportunities regarding the Internships & placement. Just few days ago two boys got 2 crore annual package from the campus placement from Nit Hamirpur, which break down the old records. But placements depends upon the branch basis like Computer science people have more chances to got good placement rather than Architectural people.

1. NIMBUS - Technical Fest (3 Days) of NIT Hamirpur in which all the clubs/teams from different departments or branches present their technical work related to today's advancements. 2. HILLFFAIR - Cultural Fest (3Days) of NIT Hamirpur in which all the cultural activities will occur. There are clubs in our college, in which all club members make this fest possible like FineArts Club, Pixonoids, Design & Deco , Dramatics , Rythmeekz ( Dance Club).

Fee Structure of NIT Haimirpur is feasible for who having less income of parents like below one lacs fee is 10000 Rs. per semester. People having income 1 to 5 lacks having fee about 35000 Rs. Per sem. & Who having income more than 5 lacks having fee 80000 per semester which is little expensive & the hostel fee is around 25000 Rs. per semester.

There are too many scholarships that our college provides. Under MHRD department NSP portal helps students to fill scholarships according to their catagories , income criterias etc. And regarding loan, our college have sbi bank in the campus , so during the admission time they will help you a lot to take education loan for your studies. They are too much helpful about that.

There are too much extracurricular activities like Snooker, pool, badminton court, Table tennis, Boxing inter branch , cricket matches , tennis etc. Selected students will present our college at National level also. Just now only Indoor Games Complex building built up. In that there are too much indoor games are gonna happen.

In NIT Hamirpur there are 9 Hostels in which 3 for girls & 6 for boys & the hostel fees is around 25000 Rs. per semester for each and every Hostel. All over Hostels are not that much good but Himadri , Udayagiri , Himgiri are the three best hostel in our campus having cool infrastructure. Mess food is also good but sometimes only. In each hostel there is indoor play area for badminton , table tennis , snooker , chess etc. Having sace to play cricket outside. Triplet Doublet & Singlet all kind of rooms are Available in different hostels. Hostel allotment will decided who will get which one hostel on the basis of last year CGPA.

Our seniors & ths alumni network is helpful as always. They will motivate us to get internship & other govt. posts about your field. They will also guide us how to got a job with a good package. And about the teaching staff. they are little careless about students. They will not give that much attention on students.

After completing my 12th in 70%marks , I gave JEE mains Paper -2 in which i Got 234 marks out of 360 in 2017. In exam there will be 3 parts. 1. Aptitude Test 2. Mathematics 3. Drawing Test After counseling by JOSSA, I got seat in my home state NIT Hamirpur in 1st round & as my 1st preference. My All India rank was 10,345 & SC rank was 3,567. After that it was a documention & seat allocation was here in NiT Hamirpur. So i came to College & submit the fees and allocated my seat in NIT Hamirpur.

About the Faculty & teaching staff of our college, they are little careless about students. They will not give that much attention on students & their career. But students know their responsibilities , so they will manage at the end of semester by their own risk & googling things & watching YouTube lectures.
