- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
- 75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

In Btech 4th year students and in MSC 2nd year students are eligible for placement.
Every year 60 to 70 companies visit the college and up to 75% of students get the placement
I m going to take the placement after completing my degree here

I chose chemistry because when I was 12, I was fond of chemistry. I found it more interesting than physics.

Almost all of the professors have completed their postdoc from foreign and have a lot of experience in the teaching field.
This time it is a bit hectic bcz of 2 minors and 1 major but I am happy with this.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Faculty members are extremely supportive and highly knowledgeable. A person who is willing to learn can get the best support and guidance from the professors. Most of the faculty members have done their Philosophy in a doctorate from renowned universities around the world under highly skilled mentors and professors.

Placement Experience:
From final year onwards students become eligible for placements.
There are lot of companies like Accenture, flipkart, Amazon, HSBC, etc which offer 5-10 students.
The highest package was 50lakhs -1Cr and average is 9- 15 LPA.
Usually much students get placed from our college. But this year the percentage is very low could be due the firing of freshers and fear of corporate companies to hire freshers.
I Will go for the placements which is still going ( second season ).

Remarks:
Around 10000 students currently study at IIT Delhi, among them 55% are the students who pursue masters, PHD, Post doc etc. In my course course i. e. M.Sc Chemistry around 0.5% students of the total strength lies. The admission to M.Sc Chemistry at IIT's is possible by the entrance exam named as Joint Admission Test (JAM) Which is usually conducted in the month of february every year. After the annoucement of JAM result around 20 march, counselling process starts in the month of May and finally students get enrolled in the month of july in their respective colleges.

After giving GATE exam I got enough marks to take admission in IIT DELHI, and I always wanted to study in IITs but unfortunately, I did not get any college in jossa counselling so,and I want to get a good job.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
