I opted for this course and curriculum due to innate interest in literature. The curriculum set-up offered me a vast knowledge into the origin of English literature. However, it lacks in diversity and inclusivity of many relevant area of literature especially Indian. The curriculum was easy to approach and comprehend. It likely helps in the real world application as well. Furthermore, exams would be conducted every six - five months which was short for a semester due to COVID batch.

From the 5th semester, students are provided with opportunities to interview for different roles in many domains. Usually there are a lot of tech and service based companies seeking employees who could run their content department. Companies like skillingyou, crosshairs, etc are approached by the college's placement cell. In my time, the highest offer stood at 3.6LPA and the average package was at 1.8LPA, but I'm guessing now the average package has moved up to 2.4LPA. The profiles offered were mostly service-based. Not many students participate in the placement drive because they seek admission for higher studies but 80-90% of them are always placed. My plans were to get a job and I got one in the digital marketing industry.
I chose this course because I want to improve my English knowledge and make a career in English article writing. There are a total of 80 students in two batches and around 10 faculty members. The average ratio of faculty: student is 1:8. Teachers are well qualified and experienced. The teaching method is average because they mostly teach from textbooks only. Term exam is not very difficult to pass because there is always optional question to solve.
I choose this course because I want to make a career as an English teacher. Average on every 7th student there is one faculty. Around half of faculty members are p.hd holders and the rest of faculty members still pursuing p.hd. It is not about only qualifications they have good knowledge also. Faculty members are friendly and their teaching method is also good.
* 3rd-year students are available for the campus placements * Companies like Mckinskey , Amazon , Bain are visites and they gave almost 80% of students placements every year. * 80% of students every year get placements. * I planned to do Masters in English after graduating English Major
VIPS is quite renowned. It is considered to be the best college in GGSIPU. The faculty is great and the infrastructure is good too. The admission process is quite tough and messy as there are many steps. Heard alot of good reviews about the college and my elder brother graduated from the same college so I opted for this college.
